Honey, I just don't know. The woman obviously has a screw (or 3,000) loose. I just spent an hour on the phone with Karen and she's a mess over this. 
She IS thankful that we saved what we could, but really, nothing can make this right for her. It's even in the lease that the woman can't do anything AT ALL to the property inside or out without written consent. She's out of here as soon as Karen can get a hold of her. She's giving her 30 days to get out and finding out what she can do about the damage, but no amount of money will every make this right.

No injuries. The house is complete chaos now. And a bunch of little girls are curled up watching Snow White in the master bedroom. I need to recover.
WTF Bianca? How the sin does that happen? That's going to be no fun to resolve in Housing court. Ugh.

I'm still just at a complete loss over the whole rip apart a rented yard thing. I've got a guy coming out on Monday to look over the plants I've got here to see if he can do anything further to save them. Sigh. I'm afraid that one of the rose bushes (it's MASSIVE btw) doesn't have enough root system to make it.

Thats just so sad,your poor friend must be freaking out.I feel so bad for her.
Looks like we're going out front for a bit to watch the neighbors set off fireworks. Alex just got back from letting the neighbor's dog out to pee. I think we're going to call her to find out if the Tara is afraid of fireworks. Something we didn't think about when the neighbor asked if we'd be home tonight.
Funny story. I've drank coffee since I was 7 because my parents let me have it. Recently for my diet I cut down to 2 cups of coffee in the AM instead of *cough*5*cough* more than that.
Last week I bought some flavored coffee, because flavored creamer is fattening as all hell. I had a TERRIBLE WEEK. Everything ...... me off, I hated everyone, I had constant, grueling headaches day after day after day and a couple times I even vomited uncontrollably.
Eventually toward the end of the week things got better and miraculously I started needing coffee less and less in the morning. It wasn't the first thing I rushed for anymore, I didn't feel bleary eyed and dead when I awoke. I was thankful that I'd cut down.
Then yesterday I asked Sam to put a pot on for me, and he walks to the hallway and says "You know you've been drinking decaf?"
*facepalm*

ack - I have had to go without coffee at times when over seas - some cultures, even though they export it, dont drink much of it. Others only drink the instant... and others just plain ole dont drink it. But going decaf on accident has to be up there with cruel jokes or something... caffeine headaches are the worst!
I scheduled a doctors appointment and everything. I thought I had something serious. When I found out about the decaf, all I could do was laugh from relief and irony.

we ALMOST went today- but didnt. *whew*
Had our first meeting last night for the new non profit association for the shooting complex- Everyone LOVED it- not only did they vote for everything I put forth, they voted to buy the land we have been offered RIGHT then adn THERE!! BR and I spent about 4 hours today going through all our hunting mags and catalogs, getting the names of every company we could so I can write them begging for money.
But I am soooo excited.

I wonder what the plan was for after everything was ripped out... I'm just curious if there was a thought process (albeit a convoluted one) there. Seems there would need to be to have enough forethought to get people to come over and do it. If I were her I'd phone the police department and find out if there is a way to get her out of there any sooner then the 30 days. I know it's not strictly their purview, but they do have to know a lot about it since they are often called in to de-escalate these situations, or supervise them as mediators. Who knows what the inside of the place looks like if that's what she did to the outside.

Don't forget to reach out to the NRA and GOA. They do grants for such things.
If you're setting up a skeet range then Beretta has given generously to other ranges in the past for some signage and set number of demonstrations on-site.
This last one I say w/ reservation, not because they're not good, but it usually means a single member or two becomes heavily involved. Safari Club International (SCI) local chapters. Especially in Texas. There is some ridiculously big money in those circles. If you can find a local owner of a Westley-Ricards droplock then you'll find more sponsors.
