good MORNING! its SATURDAY! which means the cake that is sitting on my table in 8 peices, not to mention the 8 pounds of buttercream sitting in bowls, the 5 pounds of fondant wrapped in plastic wrap and the dozen or so 3D sugar paste peices I made are all sitting on a plate.
I am TIRED. LOL But I need to get this cake done, and have to take BR to his 18 wheeler at 4 in the morning. he couldnt get to the yard to unload because there was a forrest fire on the road. So he just drove down the road and left his rig-

glad I am not the only one awake. Hopefully gonna get to sleep soon. Trying to keep myself awake by watching Bo Burnham and Lonely Island videos
sorry, got caught in there making wizard of oz flowers.. LOL I was diong pretty good- then Bow woke up- now I am in here sitting with him. LOL fixing to take BR to his truck so I can finish this cake and get a nap.

morning PIF what a week , we were out of power for 5 hours yesterday. Then they say on the news they turnned the power off because they were afraid the grid was gonna blow. On a good note I had all my batts charged and didn't have to smoke, that really would have stunk as I haven't smoked since Jan.

Happy Saturday PIF storming like crazy here in my part of the universe, finally the heat has subsided!!! Pa isnt suppose to be in the 100's!!!!!
Cleveland is getting 90* heat and rain. So we get to have a shower and a bath at the same time when we step outside. How LOVELY! Give me snow!!!!
The puppy terror sprained her foot. So much more calm in the house today. Poor puppy. Aspirin is such a help.
My 4 year old is going through the terrible 2's. She missed it the last time. She just popped her sister in the face. Hubby is in a snotty mood. This is what rain does to people, I'm sure of it! I'm so tired I could eat the columbian coffee bean crop right now...

I awoke this morning to a fairly quiet house. DH, BIL, SIL, & MIL had hit already left to hit the Bourbon Trail. I just had to get the 4 boys (17 yr old nephew added to the mix) up and out the door for DS1 & 2's 5k. HOT HOT HOT and HUMID - but a great turn out! One of their team mates organized the run as a fundraiser for his grade school teacher. Both ran well, #2 ran his best time ever. He's not fast lol - but he's all heart - he was so excited to see his time. I found a tree to watch from. Runner are a "special" breed. LOL
Hit the farmers mkt and picked up fresh corn, cantaloupe, honey, and black berries. The berries are gone.
