No heros here, just taking advantage of the first day in 3 weeks that it was under 80 lol. beds are now made, potato salad is done, and one batch of jam is done. Boys are taking showers and shaving then I get to make dinner and the other batch of jam.

The only blue county in Texas!
I thought Melissa was just the name for the honey bee and not a particular name for a queen bee?

Yes Lynlee. Andy Samberg is heartable but I have to disagree about hobbits. I find them quite adorable/sexy really...although Strider did steal my heart in the trilogy (the books) and then with Viggo Morentsen on the screen..it was also be still this heart of mine. :)

As to troll...I thought a troll on a message board was someone who deliberately posted to stir up trouble?

And

Happy Sunday PIF!!! I hope you all have a terrific day. :)

PS...glad I'm wearing my Amy-kitty avi so there isn't any high tech surveillance on me. :)

Melissa does mean honey bee or was the name of some priestesses that collected honey for a goddess or the goddesses of honey... depends on where you look. But honey bee is close enough to queen bee for me. I think Deborah is queen bee actually.

Just got back from seeing Cars 2 with the boys. First recommendation, 1 1/2 year olds are not able to hold their attention on something for more than 45 minutes. Well, at least mine isn't. He did well, all things considered. My 3 year old did well until the last 5 minutes and then he wanted to play with the usher/walking lights on the wall by the steps. Second recommendation, movie is good, but not great, wait till DVD/Blu-ray. Third, don't run in the morning heat if you plan on going to a theater full of kids in the afternoon. I'm beat and every kid in there (even my own), were annoying me and all I wanted to do was nap.

Are you painting the entire inside of the house?

No, just Livi's new bedroom. I am done. :) I see two spots on one wall that need a touch up, but beyond that, I am done. :D

I have to go pick her up soon, but this cup of coffee and I are hanging out for a minute.

Sarge, I tried to make cookies w/ Ceridwen. They turned into one big sheet of something resembling partially cooked dough. I threw it in the freezer, cut it into blocks, and now it's churning w/ cream and sugar in the ice cream bucket. I figure if she can't have cookies, she can have cookie ice cream and she'll still love me.

Who are we making cookies for again anyway? Queen of the Mod or the Faerie Princess or all the Royal Army of Ladies? -Magnus

Magnus - I vote all the royal ladies ;-)

Lynlee - I just hope it's not too big for him - but heck my first car was a 1968 dodge cornet - no a/c, a/m radio, no power brakes or power steering. I still managed to parallel park it on campus. They only downside was it sat 8 - 4 in front (if not too big) and 4 in back. So I ended up being the DD all the time. I once got a standing ovation for parallel parking it on the first try in front a fraternity house with a bunch of guys on the front porch. It's been over 20 years and it's still one of my finest moments ;-)
