Im very happy that Trish has made some wonderful healthy choices and improved her health,but Im kinda sad cuz she is my friend andd Ill miss her alot.To me she has always been the perfect PIFer.She oozes PIF!

I smoked for 20 yrs. My MOM bought me my first pack of cigs when I was 15! I'll never forget growing up in Cleveland, Ohio.........I'm walking to the city bus stop & my hands were cold, so I put my cig out (or at least I thought I did).....& put the shorty in my varsity jacket pocket for later. ..............next thing you know my left side was REALLY warm, & then I saw smoke. Yep, straight up burnt a hole the size of my fist right through my cheerleading jacket. oooooooooo, my family was mad at me!
I quit the entire time I was pregnant. cigs just smelled like dirt. Then........I had a homebirth, & my divorced parents were both in attendance.........so after I gave birth, I walked downstairs, my sister handed me a strawberry margarita, then I walked outside to see my mom & dad chatting. Yeah, my dad handed me a cigarette. The next day he showed up at my house with a bunch of goodies for me being a new (single) mom & along with that a whole bunch of buy 1/get 1 marlboro menthol lights. Needless to say, I didn't smoke in my house, but I was a smoker. The one thing I really regret was being a smoker during the 2 years I breastfed. I am POSITIVE that is one of the reasons it was so hard to wean my son. (i'm all about child led weaning, attachment parenting, not vaccinating, crunchy granola stuff)
I told my doctor today..........can you believe I used to put something that was ON FIRE in my mouth????? He just started laughing because he knows how far i've come with my health. 6 months straight vaping on the 5th. 202lbs lost since August 2009 (no surgery, just calorie counting & working out)

I sent off my 501 (c) (3) paperwork to the IRS, got my corporation paperwork back from the state, and my sales tax ID, my buisiness cards have shipped ANd I put up my first major PIF - I think all in all today has been a pretty good day
