Why is it that a child can wake up with a fever of 101.3 and even with tylenol not feel better until AFTER school has started and you've called them in sick. Then it's like they were never sick to begin with. :glare: I think my kids like screwing with me. I would bet money that ds has figured out how to "fix" the ear thermometer so that it ALWAYS reads over 100 and then the kids can just fake it until I call them in sick.

The instant ones can be fooled easily by holding a warm object...err...coffee cup, oatmeal bowl....for a few seconds, then pressing the finger to the ear. They only have a short time for it to work though. Look for retreating fingers as you enter the room to see if they are pulling that one on you!

Took Livi to baby gymnastics this morning. Apparently she can't roll. =\ She starts out down the slope in the proper horizontal position, then goes vertical and slides. A mess...or a better way?? The gymnastics coach was not impressed. Looks like it's Karate next time we sign up for a class.

*snort* LOL

I'm sorry I know I should laugh - but hey I have one who trips going up the steps, another who runs for a team sport but looks like he's tripping over his feet - and even managed to spike one of his team mates IN THE THIGH during a meet on Saturday (yes, thigh, running spikes, blood with stop by the medic tent after the race) (face palm)

Having an "eh" day. The builder I work for is closing yet another model. So there goes a pay check the first of the year. I'll need to look for another job if they don't open another subdivision with a model home in it.

OH yeah! The Keurig...it's from Beth's parents. ANOTHER one showed up yesterday...two Keurigs in two days...I was giddy about this, but Beth was all "OMG, what is going on???" Who cares! We have two new Keurigs!!! So, she mentions this to her Mother who then tells her the first one is from her. She'll have to see if the second was charged to her credit card. What a trip.
