One of my cats has a weird obsession with dryer lint. He'll dig it out of the laundry room garbage can (just a very small garbage can - for a small bathroom) And carry it off. Most of the time he loses interest it before he gets where ever he was going with it. He can reach the garbage can in the laundry by standing on the dryer. It's at the back of a little storage thing next to the dryer. He just jumped down off the dryer after a futile search for more lint and made a sad sound. WTH?

I just sat down, got comfy, sipped some coffee then realized all my PV's are downstairs. Dang it! I hate getting older and more forgetful.

Rant for the day.......

I live in military/civilian housing.They raised our rent to add yard maintenance.I keep my yard pretty clean and neat.They fly through at ungodly speeds on the mowers,then they blow all the leaves and grass clippings and dirt so it lands at my front door,blow the driveway leaves back into the yard.Its a mess.Every week I have to take time to clean all the dirt and debris away from my door and re rake the yard.I pay my rent,I pay extra for yardwork.WHY cant they just do the job?Are they trying to drive me insane?WTH!!

Customer service and a "good job" is out the window these days. I just paid almost $2000 for a custom chicken coop and there is some so-so work in there for sure!

I went out to clean it up and the guy said "Dont worry about it lady."I said "My yard looked better before you cleaned it and FYI you start blowing from the door and blow down the path and driveway towards the street.You DO NOT start at the street and blow all the crap up the driveway and walk to my freaken front door!!Its just common sense!!"

mmmm I work for the Government and typically pull 40-50 hours a week and have had to be on call without pay when I get called for the last 9 YEARS. So save the stereotypes please.

LOL good point. I am just cranky today because the people on the phone want all this work done without any consideration for what I and my family might be doing this weekend. Because.... God forbid we do it after hours during the week as it may impact what they are planning.

That and reminding us there will be no pay raises... again. Hell, I would love to get back to what I was making 10 years ago! Stupid Dot Com bubble! I keep telling myself, "at least I have a job"
