If anyone has a little dog that needs a nice warm fleece for the winter, I just pulled Jamie's out of the dryer...it's brand new, she only wore it once on the chilly day we had a week or so ago. It's freshly washed and needs a sweet little dog to wear it this winter. PM your address to me and I'll send it out. It's a purple-lish color and says LOVED on the back.

When my parents had to put down Bear (shepherd/chow mix) right around Thanksgiving 2004, I thought my dad was going to die of a broken heart. I wasn't around when Ricky (shetland) died and that was the first dog my parents got after getting married. Bear came a few years later, when I was in high school. I never saw my dad so brokenhearted. It took them years before he was ok with them getting another dog. They'll always be in your heart B and in your memories

Cute:)

Hunter was 4 years old and was staying with his grandfather for a few days.
He'd been playing outside with the other kids, when he came into the house and asked , 'Grandpa, what's that called when two people sleep in the same bedroom and one is on top of the other?' His Grandpa was a little taken aback, but he decided to tell him the truth. 'Well, Hunter, it's called sexual intercourse.
Oh, Little Hunter said, 'OK,' and went back outside to play with the other kids.
A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, 'Grandpa, it isn't called sexual intercourse. It's called Bunk Beds. And Jimmy's mom wants to talk to you.'

Prism - *snort* cough. You made me laugh, which made me cough. lol

BMontgomery - so sorry {{hugs}} thank you for loving Jamie enough to give her peace and send her on.

Magnus (said sternly) take care of yourself! Please. Cir needs you.

I've been under the weather - with the friggin flu! come on It's September, not what I think of when I think flu. Finally ventured out (well had to go Monday when my temp crown fell out, but I don't count that) and restocked OTC cold meds and kleenex. The boys and DH have fended pretty well for themselves and taken good care of me (by leaving me alone !!) and I think I'm finally on the other side. We'll see tomorrow if I can stay up for more than 4 hours.

Lynlee - I'm so glad you left the chemical swamp. I came on just to catch-up and PM you about that stuff. Fas-Pak doesn't make it - they bottle and ship it though and the stuff is very caustic - the toilet bowl cleaner is very very nasty. So glad you found something else. Still hoping for bigger and better down the line for you!

Ack, Magnus. If you can call in some favors, now would be the time. I hope that you find someone to help out with your backlog of crap to do, so you can get some real rest.

Dark-- Feel better soon, hun.

Lynlee-- Yay, new job.

It's crazy here. Heather's mom, from Ohio, is spending the winters with us, starting this year. She is going to smoke in the house. We didn't even smoke in the house. Hopefully, we will have found a house to buy and moved in by her arrival after Christmas. I'm studying the Consumer Report's guide on air filtration. We are going to buy two large air purifiers and install a ceiling exhaust fan, like a industrial one, in her room. She only gets to smoke in her room. She's in really bad health and totally ignoring it all. She has a 100% blockage of her neck artery on the right side with 50-75% blockage on the left side. They can't even do a CTA because her kidneys are so bad. Her liver's already shot. We need to get her a scooter because she can't move around.
So, I'm a lil freaked out.

even if I wouldn't have found anything else I had decided that I'd rather be broke than go back to Fas-Pak~! My mom said I coughed all night long the 2 days I was there, and even Tony encouraged me to get out of there and he wasn't mad when I said I wasn't going back!!

3 1/2 hours and I start at BP~! I've worked gas stations before, not much to it. I have to find my 'friendly to strangers' face, but it should be fine. The last time I worked a gas station was a Speedway and I worked midnights by myself. It was crazy fast paced because it's the only 24 hour gas station in town and every factory came there on their breaks for lunch. I started taking OTC broncho-dilator meds and lost about 50 pounds. Didn't stop taking it until my teeth started getting really bad and my hair and nails wouldn't grow! Never doing THAT again, lol~!

Happy Friday PIF~!!
