Livi is soooooo cute B!!
Welcome back Clay!
Happy belated b-day Berry!
My world got more interesting this week. The school and I had worked out a plan to get my son out of class and doing some special projects to build his confidence and give him and this teacher a little breathing room. Boy did that bring out her true colors! I don't know if this is how she's always been, or if she just needs to retire, but she went from "That could have been handled better" to "She needs to be fired" in the course of a week. It started with some really inappropriate things like taking a class vote over who liked the new ds better than the old ds (his behavior when NOT in her class has shown the school what an amazing kid he really is), and sending him to the office for putting his hat over his face, AND trying to isolate him from the other students when he's doing nothing wrong (verified by several school staff). I reported all of this to the principal yesterday morning, and made it clear that we need to speed up the process of moving him to a different classroom. Yesterday afternoon she saw him in the snack line and asked him if he ate lunch. He said he did and she didn't believe him so she GRABBED HIM BY HIS SHIRT AND DRUG HIM ACROSS THE SCHOOL TO THE CAFETERIA.
Luckily another teacher saw this and reported it to the principal. I went in this morning and demanded that, even if they don't have another classroom for him right now, he is not to be in her room again. His third grade teacher offered to let him hang out in her class in the interim. I refuse to threaten to sue them, because that's what's wrong with our society, but she better get punished in some way. I mean, HOLY CRAP! Right?

She needs to have a time out or be completely fired or SOMETHING, FFS! I'm so sorry your son and your family have to deal with this witch.
