It was a facebook posting that clued us in on her passing and then Rose sent one of her sons a message there and it was confirmed, and the reason why she passed.

Oh no. What happened? She was always so sweet and giving here. She'll be missed. So, so sad.

Edit - I found her memorial thread. She will be missed. She always backed me up when I went on a feminist rant. She was good people.

I'm so sad about this! I love the jewelry she made, I regret not getting any more than ever now.

It's such a shock to know that she even had cancer

This is my only weekend since August that we have NOTHING scheduled. It's bitter sweet - Cross Country is over (they won state!) and the youngest has a bye this weekend in basketball.

DH & I are off to look at some Christmas stuff and then we'll get the Christmas decorations for the outside down and figure out what to do - my "Christmas Tree" had to be taken down this summer after it died. Throws off my outside decorating. But has to be this week because DH leaves for Singapore next week after Thanksgiving for 2 weeks.

Hi everybody! I just logged in and am so sad to hear about Lois' passing. What a beautiful spirit gone too soon! I have not been posting for a while.. my depression has really been messing with me. But this really made me realize that I miss all my pif friends! Hugs to all!

Hugssssssssss Sensay, I live with bi-polar disorder and the depression makes me isolate myself from my friends sometimes too. Just keep fighting and try and make yourself come here and come to chat room, it will make you feel better even though I know it is hard to do. (HUG)

So, we had a very scary night. Livi has horrilbe croup ( Croup - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) and I was ready to take her to the ER last night. I ended up talking to an ER nurse and she said to keep doing what I was already doing (steam from the shower, cool mist humidifier, keep her head up etc.) and we saw the Dr. today. Steroids are called in.

I was up most of the night...I'm so tired. Livi is doing ok now...but it will get bad again tonight. I hate croup!

aw B, I had that once, it was horrible. Just keep giving her lots of love and she'll get better soon. I'm sending some to sensay and livi! (hugs)

{{Livi}} Is it the time of year? I have another friend who was up Friday night with a little one and ended up with breathing treatments etc - 1st time ever and he's 4.

I can't imagine how scarey that is...well I guess I can a little. #3 had Whopping cough as an infant - never so scared in my life, DH even called the squad.

It's devestating to see your child fight for a breath. I thought I was going to take Beth's head off when she didn't think we needed to rush her to the ER. I guess we didn't, but that's how scared I was.
