It feels like Christmas is tomorrow. I drive 2 hours to pick up my Syracuse person at the Columbia airport. When we get home, Mercy, Matthew and Pontus should be here.

Heather and I spent almost 2 hours tonight prepping for tomorrow's dinner. We're making manicotti, completely from scratch, a honest to God salad bar and fresh baked bread. We're having 7 people over, so I bought 4 bottles of wine I think that we should be authentic with our Italian meal and pick up a cheesecake for dessert.

According to our tradition, scrabble and skip-bo will be played.

Dragging this morning. hal.dll went blooey on my home PC/server. Mucked about for hours, then reinstalled XP Pro. By 1:00am I had it back reasonably alive, verified the server functionality, still have a few more hours of reloading software.

On the plus side, I really wasn't happy with how the firewall software had been acting recently, so this gave me a chance to review the current state of the market. Picked up a few apps to try later.
