I feel for you Q4k,My kids are not behaving very well because they know I cant chase them down and Hubs has decided he has done enough. The kids wont listen to him anyways because they know all he will do is run in here and tell me,lol.Nobody wants to help.Im laying here watching it all crumble. My Dad decided he would show up for Christmas, great another 5yr old that needs a sitter. He is just walking around rambling that this is not how its supposed to be.""Wheres the love and the food??Its Christmas!!This isnt right!!""
I am just watching all this and trying not to laugh.I realized that these freakin people cant get along and function without me separating them and giving orders. Now they wont listen because I cant chase them down and clock em.Darn fools.Im staying in my room and hoping they survive.UUgghhh! Last night something horrible happened. Erin and I were in the den, it was late, she was drunk, I was tired and Willow, the 12 yr old poodle, had a seizure. We took her to the vet and he said that she doesn't need meds unless it happens again but we did a huge amount of blood work to make sure that nothing else was wrong.
I now know that if I need help that I'm capable of screaming for it and Heather can run though the house without her glasses on.

Pwyll and Keyz, I'll second the water bottle. It works on human of all ages, so does shaming. Also ever under estimate the power of guilt.

(((hugs))) Enid! Dakota had a stroke in March - it looks like a seizure! He's fine now (although slightly gate impaired on the right) - as long as there are no meds - no harm for not shelling out big bucks for an MRI (which I did to conclusively find out what happened - it was a huge stroke in his case). Medications for other conditions that can cause seizures can cause another stroke in a dog who has had one (and it's not another condition like epilepsy). I hope your puppy is fine. :)

I'd have had a heart attack Enid!

I second (third?) the water bottle! The problem will be keeping it filled since you cna't just get up and trot on over to the sink!

Crazy long day here. All the boys are now on break - except DH lol. Though he got wined and dined downtown tonight by a client in from Texas. And the law firm working on their patents sent him 2 very nice baskets. he's never been in a postion like this before - He went to the dinner, but the basket contents are going to the work pot luck tomorrow. he'll bring home anything that is left. I'm hoping the Christmas Coffee is left!

I made him sweet potato casserole, beer bread and 2 dips to take as well. He was going to but, you know, that dinner thing. lol

Whoo hoo!! excited for you two!!

I screwed up- okay we are poor, born poor, raised poor, and have always BEEN poor- we know this- no biggie, we have what we need and sometimes get what we want- Life is normal....
- SOOOO - Santa doesnt bring much- He never has- its just that way- we saw our parents struggle every year trying to do big Christmas' and its not worth it.
SOOO years ago we decided ONE present from Santa- and then on Christmas Eve we would give them a gift from US- its always Pajamas. funny, crazy, goofy.. just something fun. They get to open something on Christmas, adn I have decent clothes on them the next morning for pictures. win win right?

Well, This year I just FORGOT about the jammies. PERIOD. I mean we had that vacation, and I have the non profit, and we were volunteering for a few other things, and I had schooling, and.... well, I am lazy- shopping cuts into me being lazy...

and the gift that santa picked out (aka hubby) for each kid was EXPENSIVE-
I thought I would get away with not giving them the christmas eve gift.

Till yesterday- the oldest was saying "I cant wait for Christmas eve" "why " said the next youngest- "so we can see what pj's mom and dad picked out this year!!"

I told him I wasnt doing that- He threw a fit cause its a 'tradition' He said "we always get fun PJ's from y'all and socks and underwear in our stockings- We look forward to it!!" uggggg...
Now, I have to go back to walmart and buy PJ's... On the eve of Christmas Eve... UGGGg

I was so proud to be done on Monday- damn!!

And I really thought that was the one kid who didnt care about the PJ's...

SO- I am off to buy 4 sets of PJ's.

I think its great that he likes your tradition. We do small Christmas too.Not a ton of gifts but we do cookies Christmas eve and decorate them. They get a small gift usually an ornament that symbolizes something good that happened that year or for a collection, like my son has nutcrackers and daughter has sea creatures. Its for when they are grown and have their own Christmas tree. They will have things to remind them of happy childhood memories.Im glad your going to get the PJs.Kids need traditions.Even if its silly, its important.Your a great Mom!(((Hugs!)))

They are typically half charged, and lithium doesn't have the memory effect of other batts. You are fine vaping one while topping off the other.

Rivas will cut out themselves, do the blink bit, when they need a recharge.

(It's a techie thing, I'm a techie :) If it was a bare battery, for a mod, then you need to charge first as many standalone batts come near empty. In that case you slap them on the charger until the charger goes green, then maybe another 20 minutes, since some chargers go green slightly early.)
