It's the nuttiest thing, if I'm using a carto (which I've been doing for almost 2 years now!) I choke....use my bottom feeder w/ an atty, no choking. WTH vaping? :glare:

Anyway, I'm turning myself into an "at home dripper", meaning, unless I'm out of the house, I'm dripping or using my Hog. When I go out, I still take my Little Sister with a 2ohm Boge on it, set at anywhere between 4 and 4.5v. Dripping on a 901 is actually one of my favorites right now. Drip shield is a must. :glare: I still have love for the tanks, but I vape WAY TOO MUCH when I use them.

Q, that bites. :( As long as YOU know you're not vaping anti-freeze, you're good. :D I just say, "That's not true...I've done my research." and if that doesn't shut them up I suggest that THEY do some before they go any further and then get back with me. I don't have time to have conversations/debates with people who must apparently think I'm an idiot. :glare:

Be careful Keyzy! (((you)))

Too my last pill today...back to the Dr. on the 2nd. Hope I'm "fixed" now. Wouldn't that be lovely.

Tell him to read the ingredients list on ice cream.

Works every time for me :)

I never read the ingredients, just eat it :)

Exactly. Neither have the people that "warn you" about "smoking anti-freeze" while they happily eat their ice-cream--about 70 to 80% of which uses Propylene Glycol as a stabilizer and/or texturizer and/or preservative.

No, I'm not a home owner. We were supposed to close yesterday but because of the land not being the amount advertised (and the amount listed on our contract), we didn't even show up. We had to threaten to sue them and tie up the house for as long as that would take. Finally, they came around and sent the surveyor out to re-map it today. They were trying to cheat us out of land.

They also didn't finish the repairs in time for us to send someone out to re-inspect in time for yesterday's closing date. Now, the owner is going on a cruise Monday, so we can't close till she gets back. I really want to kill these people. We are paying double rent for the remaining time that we spend in our current townhome.

We expect to sign a contract to close on the 9th but have to see the land tax map because we don't believe them yet.
AND my back hurts from packing and I'm on the yucky pain meds that I hate to use.

Thanks for asking. I love you guys!!!

Enid - that's bull excrement about the not being able to close without the owner(s). They can pre-sign or designate a power of attorney. I know - I had DH's POA to close/purchase our 1st house (I still claim I signed away his first born)...and we haven't been to closingS (yes plural) on any of the 3 homes we've sold. We pre-signed with a notary and fed-ex the paper work - in 3 different states. So not just some KY thing. And when we bought house #3 - only one owner was there - the other signed a POA for a family member to represent him (they were divorcing).

The owner being a realtor knows this - and YOUR realtor knows this - I think it's time to mention it to your realtor and that you will expected to be reimbursed for the rent and for cancelling the movers on such short notice.

Regardless, I believe everything happens for a reason. It's just a matter of figuring out what the reason is. Dang.

Hope you feel better soon. Breath. Do something fun. And remember, none of this will matter 20 years from now!

Thanks, everyone.
We all took off Thurs, Friday, and Monday off to get moved in, so we are all taking 3 vacation days each and we're just sitting here ...... off.

We are aware that the seller doesn't have to be there but she wants to be there. These are very unprofessional people. For the seller to be a commercial real estate agent and having her own agent, they can't keep up with dates to have the work on the house started and if the work is actually done or not. We went by the house a few days ago and there were workers all over the place. The same day, we got a forwarded email asking why we had just sent the appraiser out. Our Realtor told her that we were waiting to have the work finished and that we were going to have to pay to send the appraiser out again because the work was not done. The seller's agent swore that the work had been done days ago.
