It's painfully (literally) obvious that my entire existence is an endless series of compromises. For the most part, I'm ok with this...I knew my life was going to change dramatically when we decided to have a child. I did NOT know that between the child and the dog, I would never again be able to sit comfortably on my own chaise. This is my chaise. This thing is made for one body at a time. Mine. I feel like screaming "STOP TOUCHING ME" about 3,000 times a day...but I don't. O. M. G! /rant

(Momma needs a day off. Carry on.)

Somebody needs a hug!

B! I totally understand! Being a mom is great and also has it's downfalls. Mine is 17 and she still has a radar for when I'm on the phone -she will ignore me all day but as soon as I'm talking on the phone - she suddenly needs to be talking at me! Hubby does this too... what's that all about? It's so irritating!

I wouldn't really use the word "wonderful" to describe what's happening here . We're going though a stage (at least, that's what I keep telling myself because it gives me hope that this too shall pass :glare:), and most days I'm tough enough for it, but today... Beth just got home expecting both Livi and I to be ready to go to a :bday: party for one of Livi's classmates...no, I am not ready, no I won't be going....thank God she understood and took her alone with no argument. She was probably scared of the insane look and the random twitching in my eye.
