How is everyone doing? I was out of town on a camping/fishing trip to celebrate my birthday. I was a lot of fun, even with the heat and mosquitoes! I hope everyone is well!

Had a good day today- Did NOTHING- sat on the porch, it was sooo nice- But OH LORD it was nice- breeze, the smell of rain, and watching the horses in the pasture-(use this term loosely, I got out of the horse business years ago... ) and chickens in the yard-
I stopped rocking one time, when we heard an 18 wheeler honk, and looked up, all 4 dogs were passed out on the porch, hubby and I were in the rockers, it was sooo nice.. and quiet...
Now, I am fixing to have a glass of wine and enjoy some comedy on TV.

Made 120ml of 7mg 75PG vananaberry, to go with the strumbie cheesecake
While I call these 80 & 75 pg, that doesn't mean the rest is all vg. The flavorings use a mix of alcohol and some vg as carriers.
Mailers - check! 6 & 7 mg fruity eliquid - check! Bunch of 10 & 15 ml bottles - check!

Same thing here. The oldest must be being fed by the neighbors though. I often don't see him until dusk. On the days he stays in, he just eats allllll day.
ALL Mine do is EAT!! I swear, I finally get everyone on a task and noone fighting and someone gets hungry.
Today We zero'd in the boys bows at 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards today- mine at 30 and 40 and Hubbies at around that-
And it was HOT out there- so, now that I am home I am eating Frito Pie, watching pawn stars and ricks restoration and not doing ANYTHING else!

I got to PIF in RL today. We bought a bunch of groupons for the local water park and invited all kinds of people to go with us last year. We hung out with people that we would have never spent time with socially but it really worked out well.
They expire next week, so we took my mom and one of Heather's co-workers and just floated on the lazy river for 3 hours.
The best part was walking up to young families in the line where you pay and handing out the groupons for 4 free tickets, which was worth 48 bucks. People couldn't believe it and were so happy. One woman, with a kid in one arm and holding another kid's hand, had tears in her eyes as she took it. It was a good day.

Enid you are AWESOME!!! Its so fun to be on the giving side of things. Yesterday I set up my favorite bartender with an 808 kit,extra menthol cartos and a nice selection of sample size menthol juices. I had fun explaining everything and she was so thrilled she gave me a huge hug.It made my day. I love being able to share. It just makes you feel good,Right??

It really does make me happy. That's one of the major reasons for our huge garden is giving home grown produce to people. After the waterpark, my mom came over and picked some zucchini, squash, 3 different types of tomatoes, some green beans, onions and cucumbers to take home. As much as people like to get homegrown stuff, they really love to go out and gather it themselves. It must be the hunting and gathering in our genes
I've also been baking like crazy and giving the goodies away. There's a lot of elderly patrons that come to the library once a week. You can tell which ones don't have family or don't have family nearby. Over the years, you really get to know these people. Heather and I made mini loaves of bread and gave them out to our favorite older patrons. When one of Heather's favorite patrons found out that we take our dog to a dog park near her house, she asked to join us and she doesn't even have a dog. We call her and she just hangs out and talks while the dogs play.
It reminds me of a story that fills me with compassion when dealing with the elderly at work. One of my friends went to AA. She lost her license and couldn't drive, so I used to take her. An older woman in AA started picking her up and taking her to meetings. She picked up several people, almost everyday of the week and drove them to meetings. One night, the older lady, Patsy, broke down when she told her "alcoholism story". It turns out, she had been lying about being an alcoholic for 4 years. She was looking in the paper for a support group for widows and there wasn't one. She was so lonely and depressed that she went to an AA meeting and kept going back. She started driving people because she felt guilty about lying and then being "needed" gave her a purpose in life. When old people keep blathering on and on about nothing, I think there's people so lonely that they'll go to AA for 4 years just for the company. It kinda keeps things in prospective.

That's a really awesome thing you did, I'm wicked lucky to be surrounded by people like you (even if it's not IRL)
