Good morning!

My "friends" have invited me to a 30 day ab challenge. It's 25 reps of 8 different abs exercises. I did 10 or 15 of each this morning and am already feeling some discomfort. One of the girls started yesterday, did it again today and is now whining about how it hurts to lift her laundry basket. Silly woman, doesn't she know she know laundry is evil?

I haven't worked out in 3 weeks between vacation, recovering from vacation (We were down in your neck of the woods Magnus! Indian Shores) and getting #1 off to college, I've been ignoring it.

Going to pay the price in a bit as I allow Jillian to kick my ....

Wouldn't be possible if I were still smoking.

2 years smoke free as of August 7th!

Sounds like something I should get in on, but I can't even think of 8 different exercises for the abs. I love to work out, but the abs, never get the way I want them to be.

Ab exercises never seem to do for me what they are supposed to. I seem to have unusually strong abdominal muscles, protected by a nice thick layer of fat. I could do crunches all day, and never get sore at all. I have been trying to lose 20 lbs for like 6 months now, and not 1 lb off yet. I think it may be time to cut even the healthy food way down. There is no more fat or sugar to cut.

So.....the dog is shedding...understatement:unsure:.....I bring out my trusty grooming tools for the task......including a plastic grocery bag......OMG it's full

 lox says it looks like a dog exploded in here

He's right..... I hope his pet-vac can handle this....

Lol, I brush King every day and I think Dakota's back fur is a little longer. I bet you get more than a bag full. Does he still leave tufts laying around even after you comb him?

You can always save it and make Lox a nice sweater

The tufts slow way down after the brushing/combing...and yes Dakota has a "skirt" in the rear :p

As much as he used to give me problems combing or brushing his hindquarters and mane....he was much more cooperative this time. He never wanted me to use a "rake" on him before but I bought a new dog grooming system - 1 handle, many attachments - you buy the attachments you need (long hair, short hair, double coat, etc).

He didn't mind the rake at all.....a first for him. He even let me use the comb on his mane and hindquarters - which I still have more to do in those areas...didn't want him to become uncomfortable...or remember how he doesn't like it and run off:glare: (I used to use his leash - with the handle around my ankle so I didn't have to chase him down :p) He's always liked his back and chest brushed.

Since his stroke last year he's become a little talker.....he communicates pretty well. He was very chatty once I was done with him.:)

Randomness...I can do that since this is only my 3 week into vaping and no tobacco...I am having troubles staying on task. I am soo glad to say goodbye to the analogs(neat word btw) and to the money spent on cigarettes.

Today is a good day, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and everything's right with the world!

Cheers and Happy vaping!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

There was a big turtle on a major local roadway - and since I'm an idiot I decided it needed rescuing. It was a big sucker so I jump out to pick it up. Little did I know it had totally different plans. The sucker attacked me! It literally turned right toward me and booked at my feet. I'm wearing flip-flops and apparently I'm a HUGE pansy or I jump up and down like a Yeti being shot at my Yosemite Sam. After a little bit the big bully went onto the grass and slid straight down into the retention pond.

Well, THAT makes me feel better about not rescuing the turtle I saw on the side of the road last month. It was a big one, about a 18" wide shell... It was a busy highway but he was off in the grass hanging out by a swamp area.

I'm logging everything I eat at myfitnesspal.com. It's why I (sob) quit drinking coffee. I was drinking a pot a day with milk - and the milk was over 200 calories when i added it up - I'd rather chew my calories. lol
