So proud of my boy (#3) - had his 1st run in with truly competitive sports - didn't make the "A" team for basketball. (We're not surprised, he tries hard, but not his talent)
His comment was - well I'll probably get more playing time on the B team. We'll see how his classmates all handle it tomorrow - they had to wait until they got in their cars to open their envelopes this evening.
I'm dreading finding out who his coach is going to be - We have a dad who thinks yelling at kids is an effective form of communication - if his son made the B team, he was going to coach...is it wrong to hope his kid made the A team?
And no, I'm not offering to coach - I never played basketball myself...and in gym would volunteer to keep score ;-)
