Hi, All.
I have read the forum, advices for begginers and some guides and reviews and I still have some question.

As I understand, it is about 100mAh to 1 hour, but I haven't understood, if it is 1 hour of
a. smoking
b. the day, regardless if I was smoking or not.
If 'a' is true, than if we count smoking one cigarette for 10 minutes, 10 cigarets is 100 minutes or about 160mAh, so a battery with 650mAh will last for 4 days to me?! 'b' doesn't make sence, but just to be sure...

Let's say, I'm smoking 10 cigaretts a day. How much that will be in terms of mililiters if I chose to use a clearomizer? At least a rough evaluation will be much appreciated. I would like to know this, so I can count, how many times a dya I will need to refill my catridge.

Another question, if I use a tank system, can I fill lets say 3 tanks and then put them aside, or I cannot store filled tank as it will leak?

Additionally, I would like to ask for your help in deciding what should I buy.

Input:
I'm smoking about 10 medium cigaretts a day.

Requirments:

1. Lasting full day on single charge.

2. Refilling the liquid for least possible time spans.

3. Easy of refillment/cleaning/maintance process.

3. Being of good enough quality, without sence of cheap plastic.

After reading some reviews, I'm thinking about buying the following staff:
1. Clearomizer: GotVapes SplitFire 3ml Tank Replaceable Head 2.4ohm (is it really claromizer? Did I call it properly?)
2. Battery: Joyetech eGo-C 1000mah TWIST Variable 3.2v-4.8v or VISION Spinner Variable Voltage eGo 3.3-4.8v 1300mah. Which one is better? Are both of them fitting to clearomizer I have chosen?
3. Charger: eGo USB charger
4. Liquid for smoking (have no idea about this one, I'm smoking Golf gold currently, so if you have any advices, it will be highly appreciated)

Is this enough, or I need anything in addition? Please comment on this set, I will be glad to recieve any advices on the topic.

Best regards,
Ruslan

I have the 3.5ml vivi nova tank with a twist and fill it about once a day. The average vaper can go through anywhere from 3-5ml a day. The battery usage is counted when you push the button not like a cig that burns continuously. The battery does not drop if not using it but could if not used for months at a time. If you only smoke 10 cigarettes a day it could last several days but most use it quite a bit when they are new, sometimes more than they smoked. Your order looks good, I have not tried the new splitfire yet but hear good things so far. I would probably go with the spinner at 1300mah as I hate charging batteries. It is a little shorter than the twist and slightly fatter. As for juice if you really only smoke 10 cigs might want to start with a bottle of 12mg and one of 18mg. You will have both to try. Both batteries have 510 threading and anything 510 will work with them. Good choice.

The unknown is how much will you vape vs how much did you smoke...you won't really know the answer until you start. For instance, I was a 3 pad smoker, so I basically smoked all the time...now I vape all the time...so I go thru 3-4 mil per day and about 4 320 mah bats...or 1 650 and 2 320s. I can't even begin to evaluate that for a 10 cig per day smoker...thats like 1/2 to 3/4 mil a day and 1 320 bat...that seems unlikely.

First of all, welcome to ECF, since this is your first post.

The mAh (mili amps per hour) is a battery term that is a measurement energy drain from a battery until it is no longer effective powering a device. It is a generalized figure. l hour vaping = 100 mAh. For example, a battery that is rated at 900 mAh, it should be expected to power a device for 9 hours.

In real life, it could work out to be a little more, or a little less. Much would depend upon how heavy the device is used. If someone is a very heavy vapor, a chain vapor, it might be less. If someone is a light vapor, only hitting on the device less frequently than that, it might be much longer.

If someone is allowed to vape rather continuously at their desk, the rated mAh time will be less than the 9 hr. If someone only vapes occassionally, say while on several breaks during the day, it will be more.

See my point? It is in reality an estimated figure of time, an average. As a potential user, you must determine how heavy of use that battery will be expected to perform, and factor in that information to fit your needs.

I'll let someone else more familiar with Ego systems answer your questions about the differences between the two you listed.

The Splitfire I'd personally stay away from for the time being. It was just recently introduced and is in its first incarnation. From what I've read, it has gotten pretty mixed reviews. But the choice is yours. If that is to be your sole vaping attachment, I wouldn't trust it and would be certain to have a backup device of another type.

For a beginner, I more likely recommend the mini Vivi Nova or the Smoktech Titan. Easy to use, easy to fill, replacable heads. Been out awhile to have gotten most of the kinks ironed out.

Or, a larger clearomizer like the Kanger T3.

For juices, I'd recommend buying only sample packs or small trial sizes from a couple of different juice vendors. You don't know what you are going to like until you actually use them. We can only offer places to try that we have had positive results with. Once you try several flavors and have found a favorite or two, you can order more in a larger size. Doing this will prevent you from wasting a lot of money of large quantities of flavors that you may not like at all.

Being that you are from Isreal, I have no idea if the companies that I have used will ship overseas.

I hope this was helpful.

I've noticed that since starting to use an e-cig, I'm dragging on it ALL DAY LONG. I was about half a pack a day before, but now I can't go more than an hour without that "itch" to pick up my e-cig and drag it. I have an 1100 mah battery and it lasts me about a day and a half, and I'd say I'm probably dragging for about... 4 hours a day?

Baditude, can you post the links to the clearomizer that you have mentioned in your post?
I have found the following, but I'm not sure, you have meant these ones:
mini Vivi Nova
Smoktech Titan
Kanger T3
Those are the devices that I was referring to. They are all easy to fill with juice, don't leak, and give plenty of vapor and flavor.

Vision Ego Clearomizer http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=148_217_140

Aesthetically, the Kanger T3 and clearomizer would follow the narrow slim shape of an ego best, in my opinion. The Kanger T3, with it being a bottom coil device, gravity will work in its favor; where the clearomizer and other two are top coil and rely on string wicks to draw liquid up to the upper coil.

Edit: Just saw this pic on ECF. Shows a 650 mah Ego Twist with a Kanger T3 and a 900 mah Twist with a clearomizer.

________

Below are just two juice vendors that I recommend that offer sampler packs. I don't know if they ship overseas; perhaps email them to find out.

Vaperite | E Liquid Flavors and Organic E Cigarette Liquid

Organically Flavored E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Hi RusBog, welcome to ECF.

Starting out? I would not worry so much about what will last all day, because it can vary a lot, based on how much you smoked. How much you vape. How well your device works. How well you like the juice you are using.

Are PV devices easily available in Israel? Try something, give it a try, and if you stop smoking for a while, you can afford any PV you want!

I have searched a number of vendors, but I couldn't fing a good vendor with paypal option and international shipping. Can you advise me some?

Thanks.

Hi Ruslin

Welcome to ECF and vaping - I'm sure you're going to revel in it!

I buy almost exclusively from Madvapes LLC - E Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarettes, Vaping Supplies
They are cheap, and ship internationally very cheaply. I live in South Africa, and wait anything from 2 - 3 weeks for a shipment with USPS international shipping.

Vision 2.0ml Slim Nova Tank Clearomizer, Blue for the mini vivi nova
Vision 3.5ml ViVi Nova Tank Clearomizers for the standard vivi nova
Vision eGo Spinner 1300mAh Variable Volt Battery, Black for the Vision spinner

Good luck!
Vape on!
