I just got a pantyhose filter from fast tech that you put OVER the body and it totally eliminates the tobacco in the mouth! I am going to re-wick the filter with some undyed/unbleached cotton that I got from Walmart. I don't want to inhale all of the man-made stuff from the pantyhose.

This is a great idea and also handy if you're planning to rob a liquor store

This thread is even better after a couple cocktails.

Question- Can I take the original stuffed filter off the tip and replace it with something way cool like a tip embossed with David Hasselhoff? Does anyone make David Hasselhoff wraps for filters?

The Hoff is actually an inhalation technique.

Great, now i have to go to 7/11 again -- the guy there probably thinks I have a crush on him. He says most people buy the same kind of cigarettes every day.
I am just looking for my ADS. I feel like I'll never settle on just one smoke.

We've all been there. Persevere and you'll find Nirvana - and Mr Cobain in the ash tray.

Would you suggest I buy special unfiltered ones or is it ok to remove the filter on ones I already have? I hate to waste all of these if I could just mod them slightly so they would work better.

You could take some 0.2 nichrome and repeatedly push it in and out of the filter tip for an airier draw.

Think of the poor little match girl. Get a lighter. American. Even though you are in England.

The poor little match girl won't be so poor if she sells lots of matches. And wood is a renewable resource. There are only finite supplies of butane. We could be wasting our children's future with our selfish consumption of fossil fuels.

Oh man there were no directions!! I thought you had to light them well steeped meaning juicy with vodka! Now I know, dry them first. I will see if the vendor will at least replace my eyebrows or a credit for a carton on new smokes because there were no directions or warnings! Maybe we need the FDA involved to make these cigarettes safer to use. They should at least be labeled as flammable!

Once the FDA get involved you open the door to organised crime Think "prohibition" and how well that went...

Not to thread jack, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere else on the forum. Anybody out there have a 2000 Nissan Frontier? I need new tires and want to know where to get some.

OT post - why spend money on tires when you could buy Benson & Hedges? Just sayin'...

Thanks Maggie! Can't afford those cigars yet anyway. Good thing is that I'm single, so I don't have to worry about a spouse complaining about how much I'm spending on my new habit! This is so expensive!

Maybe instead of upping the number of them I inhale, I should switch to unfiltereds? But I heard you can get some of the tobacco bits in your mouth. Can anyone recommend a good one that doesn't do that?

That's always been a problem with unfiltered, you'll have to modify them slightly so they don't do that. Mix up a light slurry of raw asbestos fibres and dip the end that you stick in your mouth in the slurry. Make sure the asbestos dries completely to have the full affect. This will mean that the mineral asbestos particles will become airborne on the inhale but this will only increase the cancer forming properties of the tobacco, so no worries there. The asbestos will bind the tobacco crumbs together and stop it coming out of the cigarette.

I still say that a cigar is the way to go. Since they are full tobacco leaves rolled by hand by female workers in Cuba crumbling tobacco in your mouth is never a problem. Of course you can still use the asbestos trick if you want.

Speaking of those tobacco workers, aren't they just the luckiest people? The get a nicotine addiction for free just from handling the tobacco every day, and then they get to take home most of their pay in non-taxable cigars. I think I'll have to move there.

Smoke them as cigars?

Now ya talkin'!

I don't know why anyone would waste good tobacco by chopping it up and rolling it in paper. There's a special cigar rolling tool called a 'slap-yo-daddy' that makes it easier to get the tobacco leaves into a roll. It also assists in adding the saltpetre and sulphur, and some of them even cut one end of the cigar for you. I highly recommend this tool but make sure you get a genuine slap-yo-daddy as there's a lot of imitators out there.

Nope. Sucking on a Beedi right now. I just LOVE the pink cotton tie. Mass-produced in India with no QC but what the hey?
Beedies are ok if you want a 510-t-a-like but buying any of THESE pre filled cigarettes is just supporting BIG eCIG and their cronies in the Govenment Freemasonry who are against our right to smoke. USE a refillable Mod like this for a better vape and keep supporting that old couple on their small farm (Weirdness IS not a CRIME.)

I hope someone can help, I am trying soooooooooo hard to stick with this smoking thing, but my taste buds are broken, I can't taste anything anymore, food tastes like like crap and I can't smell anything but old smoke on everything, I am so ready to go back to vaping and just give up this smoking thing! I heard FDA is banning smokes any way, any suggestions??? Oh I am using my friends "borrowed" mini cigs, he had a pack in his truck for a year, said I could use them to get started, is this a good set up??

LOL bnrk

Look, it has it's advantages so don't be too concerned. When your SO farts in bed you won't even know about it.

Is there a meet scheduled anywhere? I've learned so much from this thread- I really want to meet other smokers and see some of these tricks and tips in person. I especially want to learn how to rebuild. And maybe if i could just try someone's cigar, I'd understand what all the fuss is about.

In Salford there are informal meets going on all the time - outside betting shops, outside pubs, in bus queues, outside the supermarket...don't think you'll find many cigars, though. Air-fare might be a bit steep, but hey - this is a "spend-it-before-you've got-it" kind of hobby.
