I don't get it. I been vaping since last night (24 hrs in 2 hrs).. and the whole craving for an analog is just.. not there.

Has it just not gotten to me yet or what? I'm seriously disappointed that I'm not as addicted to cigarettes as I had thought? LOL

After a pack and a half a day for the last 3 years and smoking for the past 12.. analogs have let me down! Where did my addiction go?

Well.. I guess the e-cig truly works a miracle then.. because I have really no desire to smoke an analog. I even tried to make myself think I should buy a pack!! and.. All I can logically say to myself is "No.. why would I want that?"

hmmmmmmmmmmm

verrrrry interesting.

Thanks to all of you that helped me figure out what to buy, not only from responding to my 1st post, but by being a part of this community and posting you-tube videos, etc.. so that I could learn about this stuff!

Thank you guys! I'm still waiting for the whole.... "I NEED A CIGARETTE" and the whole "IM GOING TO KILL SOMEONE IF I DONT GET TO THE STORE SOON" feeling..

Lol.. damn analogs. seems like the withdrawal was more addicting than the addiction, at least in my case. I feel like I'm going through withdrawal-withdrawal if you know what I mean. WHERE IS IT? lol

I guess I'll give up on expecting to feel withdrawal in the next few days.. or something. still.. feels so weird.

Great to hear that, Milano!

I will be "analog" free for 24 hours in less than 30 minutes since I started vaping last night. All day I didn't even think about a regular cig, but I did have a few moments about an hour ago when I was tempted BUT I didn't cave in. Instead, I played around with some flavors I have and found a satisfying mix. This was a result of just topping off the cartridge to experiment, but basically it's a mix of tobacco, menthol, and black cherry from American ELiquids. com in a sample pack I'd ordered and received today. I hope I can recreate this melange more or less by topping off until I figure out a formula.

So happy to hear about your results! :)

I was like you Milano, enjoyed the vaping so much right from the start that I quit the cigarettes within a day. I gave myself permission to have one if I wanted, but I just haven't wanted. Gotten a few cravings but they passed pretty quickly. It's NOTHING like when I quit before & was climbing the walls and/or obsessing about cigarettes day and night!

Good luck to you, keep it up!

I know what you mean, I'm 3 days in now. I had half a cigarette as I was opening up the package with all my goodies from Cignot, that was tuesday night, this is Friday. That's including one very stressful day and that other half of that last cigarette it's still sitting in the ashtray. I have lost count how many times I have tried to quit over the years this is the first time I have no desire to smoke.

I got the ecig out of curiousity and was a 3pack/day smoker and loved smoking so the idea of quitting wasn't a part of it. But when I took my first good drag off a 510, I thought - this could replaces cigarettes. I did an experiment - when I get the urge I'll hit the ecig for three drags and after that if I still want a cig I'll do it. That last part never happened. After about a month I was still getting mental picture of me smoking on the porch ?? lol and that was a bit of a temptation but I blew through that in the same manner. After 4 months no more pictures.... ;-)

I smoked 1-2 packs per day for 35 years and was able to put them down, literally, from my first vaping. Yes, it was shocking to me too! Unbelievable really. That was one week ago this morning. Since then, I smoked one analog Monday afternoon when I worked late and drained the batteries I had with me. I bummed a smoke from a co-worker.

I've got 8 cartons of analogs. :( So, it hasn't been a matter of considering a cigarette run ... they're right here in the house waiting. I've lit a couple over the past week, but only took a drag or two off each one and them put them out. Very, very weird.

It's pretty amazing huh? lol

I convinced my sister to order a kit from CigNot. She got the PCC and everything because she's on the move a lot more than I am but.. she likes the idea, and my niece is ecstatic that mom is going to try to quit smoking.

Anyway, I been around people who have been smoking today.. and I really.. don't care at all. No freakin' "that smells good i need one" feeling, or anything.

I'm stoked.

4 1/2 hrs away from 2 full days.

I haven't gone this long without smoking....... well, ever since I started 12 yrs ago.

I think most of your addiction wasn't the drug, but the oral craving and ritualistic behavior...

And let me ask... do you vape as much as you smoked? I don't...

No, not at all. Actually I vape a lot less than expected. Although one may be able to attribute that to the higher dose of nicotine in the PV, compared to what was in my analogs....

:)

I think you're right.. about the ritualistic stuff there. I haven't been running to the fridge every 10 mins like i used to when I was out of cigarettes too.. BUT. I dont know what the hell to do with the time I used to spend just sitting here smoking. lol. You know, you would sit and enjoy a good analog for about 8 minutes.. -- now? I can vape my craving away in less than 2 minutes and.... WHAT DO I DO WITH THE OTHER SIX? lol
