You need a 306 drip tip. welcome to the world of experimenting with different atomizers. They all have their place.
Cisco is definitely a better level of atty. Similar to most other 306 or 510 or whatever Avid sells, but they should last longer and have a slightly better quality vape.
You need to know which resistance (Ohms) to get to match your device. It depends on the voltage that it has.

No idea what the voltage is: 3.8? It comes with LR 2.0 attys.

"This is it! the best eGo/Riva type batteries that we have found.Made by SLB. 1100 mAh for all day and night vaping. These batteries run at a higher voltage than most, instead of the3.3v to 3.7v provided by most eGo/Riva batteries these provide 3.8v under load with dual coils and over 4.0v under load on regular cartomizers."

I don't really like dripping through a drip tip - I end up getting the juice in my mouth. Any solution for that?

If your PV shipped with LR 2.0, buy the Cisco 2.0's.

Make sure you grab a copy of the Cisco user's guide and understand how to properly prime them before you try to use them. It's available at the top of the product page on Avid Vaper.

Unfortunately, drip tips are a way of life with a 306. Grab an XL drip tip or a cannon style drip tip. That will help to prevent juice from spitting back in your mouth.

A drip tip is pretty much a "must have" for a 306 since the bridge is exposed. I ordered a couple from madvapes to try.. I know everyone raves about them but I just couldn't get a good taste or vapor out of them.

You might give Ciscos or iKenvapes a try. I did not like Joye 306's which might be what Madvapes is selling.

With 3.8v underload, you will want imo, a 306 atty that is in the 2.0 to 2.5 Ohm range. Any lower would be too hot. *some like it hot though.

I hate conventional drip tips... for the best, i'd recommend the Pyrex d/t from Theecig.com... they sell attys too and because they are pyrex, hand made, the fit can vary. They use a Bauway 306 so if you want to be sure, get one.
I bought the d/t and will try with other 306's anyway.
Pyrex is awesome. No juice back in the mouth.

Whatever drip tip you use it is always a good idea to give a quick blow down through the tip with your mouth off of the tip to get the juice to go down. If it is a smaller diameter drip tip and thicker juice it has a tendency to hand there. I got a mouthful of juice this morning because I was using an I06 and just dripped a couple drops and forgot to give it a quick blow before taking a drag. I am a little slow in the mornings LOL

I use the 306 with a Delrin flute drip tip. The hole is larger and with a little practice, you can drip without touching the sides of the hole. I do keep a paper towel around to clean the tip after dripping, though. I roll the folded paper towel on a corner and stick it into the hole and rotate. No juice in the mouth after that.

Another option is Boge cartomizers. I use the low resistance (1.6 ohms) with my eGo batts at 3.4v. for 3.7v, I like the 2 ohm and higher.

Good idea!
I just ordered one 306 from Ikenvape 306 1.8 ohm Atomizer with Colored Drip Tip; not sure if it will be good, it was $6.99 with the drip tip. I am guessing the tip is attached to the atty, so I will have to drip right into the tip.

I like the dual coil 1.25 XL SmokeTech cartos.

I want to buy a 306 atty. Looking at the picture on Avid Vapors site, and there is no tube over the atty. Do I drip right through the drip tip? And can I use any drip tips that I already have, or is there something else that is better?

Oh, I have a Kgo.

Thanks!
Sandy

I would suggest a Pyrex, glass, drip tip for your 306. The taste is great from glass and you can also see the atty which initially helps with juicing as the 306 can be a little finicky. Good Luck.
