Cisco LR 306 vs LR 510 (I wish I had known they use the same connector earlier!)

Agreed, nothing like a Cisco and I can't do a LR306 2.0 either - not enough for me

Perhaps I was already biased because I tried Cisco's first, but I was not happy with the Joye 306's. I tried a few after Cisco stopped selling the 306's wholesale and before I was told I could still get them from Avid Vaper. I experienced performance on par with EM LR 510s. They're not worth the price premium I'm willing to pay for Cisco's, in my opinion.

It. definately had to be a bad one. Theres a world of difference even between that and a Cisco LR 510 1.5 You did get the 1.5 didn't you. They have the 2.0's also

Not bashing but I don't get the hype.

I tried 1 Cisco 306lr and it performed no better or worse than the $4 510lr attys I've been getting from EastMall and Greenhouse1.

Didn't put out more vapor or flavour.

Mabe I got a bad one.

I really like the 306. I am still on my first one. It has been almost a month. I just ordered some more 306 atties, but it didn't say if they came with drip tips. Does anyone know if I can re-use the drip tips from the 306? Can the drip tips be used on more than one atty? (Of course, not at the same time) lol.

yes they can its simply a slide on tip, and you can use them until they wont stay on the 306 any longer

i got some cisco 306 lr 1.5 ohms from avid vapes, im having a huge problem with burnt taste right out of the gate, usually attys for me taste a little funky at first then break in and taste good, i cant shake the funky taste for some reason.

I believe Cisco's specs in the manufacturing process eliminate the "primer" or that funky taste. What voltage are you using it on?

Also, Laurel099 just got in new 2.0ohm LR306's and she is raving about those, too. I might have to pick a few of those up, but we both would be using on the Darwin. Might make a difference with the VV.

I have an old school suggestion. Do you have an old contact lens case that has the left/right cups or something similar? These are similar to the 401 in terms of atty shape when the cartridge has been removed. You might try to "dip" the bridge of the atty in your favorite liquid.

Could be that the lack of the drip tip will require this method? Let us know if that works.
