As for allowing other countries to participate - our members are GIVING away stuff. Don't you think it's asking a lot to have them pay international shipping rates too? How much would it cost them to ship to Australia? Many of our members have limited funds - yet they offer what they can to help others. What more can anyone ask of them?
That "article" you posted is not a source. It's a website that nobody has ever heard of, a blog, the worst source that's possible to provide. Hearsay, as I said. If you look at the ACTUAL LAWS you will see that it is NOT illegal, and that there are in fact NO laws yet on the matter. Last time I checked no laws did not mean illegal (actually, kind of the opposite LOL). I don't know why you're still trying to prove me wrong. I've been to this rodeo before, I live in Canada, I know these things like the back of my hand. I think Bamrz (thanks, Bam!) has been clear about the other link you posted and why it does not apply to what we are talking about. A single quick Google search in order to find a link that supports your point of view doesn't mean that that is the facts. I could search Google for proof that the sky is purple and find it. You see the issue here?
It costs me $7.61 to ship something to the US. It also costs me $7.61 to ship something of the same size and weight to Singapore. I'm assuming it's not that much different in America where shipping domestically and internationally is a hell of a lot cheaper than it is in Canada. Many members everywhere have limited funds, including, and ESPECIALLY, internationally. But of course, exclude them because they're too far away and even though you don't know how much it costs to ship something to one of these countries you will not consider it
. This new idea is a LOT more far-reaching than any PIF has ever attempted (or in this case, not attempted) to be. It's really so far off base to even be talking about PIF in relation to this idea that it's foolish to be wasting my finger strength to type these words right now. And thus I am done with my rebuttals on this topic, I think I've made my point, and the facts of the matter, quite clear. Now, if we could, anyone have anything thought-provoking to say on the idea that Projectguy has proposed?
