Clean or toss atomizers?

For those out there who use atomizers on a regular basis..

Once an atomizer starts to draw hard/perform less optimally, do you :

A) Clean it in an attempt to get it working like new.
B) Accept it as a disposable part and replace it with a new one.
C) Replace with a new one, but keep the old for a rainy day cleaning session.

I personally have decided it's not worth the hassle to go through some of the intricate cleaning procedures I've seen and haven't had fantastic results with vinegar or alcohol soaks, so now I just replace them. I haven't thrown out the old ones, but haven't felt motivated to clean them, either.

I'll boil water and then place my atomizers in it for 15 minutes. Take them out, blow em out from both ends and let them air dry. Sometimes I'll get a cleaned atomizer to work for a few hours, some will work for a couple of days and some will work like new and last me a week or longer and some just wont produce any vapor after cleaning and those I toss in the garbage. For me it's always worth trying.

I myself will collect the ill preforming atties in a box and just throw a new one on. When times get tough I will soak them in vodka and sonic them. I have been really liking dual coil lr cartos and find that although they make juice taste different, you can always mix you fluid for them seperate...plus they hardly ever fail!

I only use one atomizer at a time until it dies.
They usually last me around 5 months on average and work like new again every time I clean them.

I clean that one atomizer every week or two, as needed, using this dry burn method...

It takes less than 5 minutes and couldn't possibly be any easier.

Back when I used atties I kept them going for months by cleaning them.

Like DC2 I used only one atty at a time until it bit the dust.

Some juices can really kill an atty quick while others are atty friendly.

I blow my atty out every night before putting it away (blowing away from the bridge) and dry burn every couple of weeks. Also like DC2, I use only one atty at a time. Mine usually last 5-6 months.

Mine (dse 901 SR mainly) last me about a week of chain vaping... they either die (most times) or lose quality; i put them in a box for future cleaning, but since i buy in bulk (Vapor Kings) i LOVE a new fresh atty!
I have a hunch it's the VV's i use exclusively with lots of changing voltages that cause the high death toll.

i also use other attys, but 9:1 it's 901.

I will look for an ultra sonic cleaner to clean a bunch, and like poster above said give em a go... or toss if not up to snuff...
I've cleaned a few with the boiling, dry burn... w.vinegar/baking soda... and find they don't last much longer before dying.

My atties still work as far as firing up, but most of the old ones I've held onto are gunked up and haven't been revived through soaking or hot water. My main liquids are from FSUSA, and only come in 50/50, so I'm thinking the high VG content is what is doing it. I threw a box of them into boiling water just now and since I have nothing better to do, will try the atty resurrection method. I think I've gotten hooked on the fresh atty experience, though. I know a lot of people enjoy it, but I don't really like to have to mess with things to get them to work the way I want...no adjusting wicks or science projects for me! But I will try the dry burn on the old ones since it doesn't matter if they break.

I clean mine in a ultrasonic cleaner with 100 proof cheap vodka. I give them 3 cycles in the vodka and 2 with hot water, blow out and dry. I have been vaping for 8 months and haven't thrown out an atty yet, of course I rotate often. They all still work great after cleaning.

I will do my best to clean. So much cheaper than analogs though, I have no problem throwing one away if it is no longer up to par.

I put them in a box to be cleaned later.I am looking for a good method for me.I get tired of playing around with them.
