I use a drop of dish liquid in my sonic cleaner. Rinse the item in cold water, wipe it off, and let it air dry.

Hi and welcome - any of the methods above should work just fine.

Me, all I do is take off the drip tip each time I fill my tank and then screw up a piece of tissue, damp it down slightly with either hot water or any kind of drinking alcohol spirit and that seems to do the job just fine.
