Clearo questions! help please!

Hi everyone,

Im having trouble finding a good clearo that actually works the way it is supposed to. Im using a volt x2 manual (tried others, my fav) I've used a SI t3, SI ce4 and SI ce3 since I started this adventure a little over a month ago. My experience is as follows:

T3 : filled it up following ecf members instructions who have used it, didn't get any juice in the center, screwed the head back on right and the dang thing gurgles and gets juice in my mouth like crazy from first vape. And it barely vapes.

Ce3: got a five pack. Researched how to fill properly (I do a lot of research on this vaping hobby I seem to have fell into head first), with a syringe, which sucks btw, and every effin one of them leaked most my juice out!! And they tasted burnt even tho I let them sit for awhile before vaping. Five defects out of five???? Noooooo

Ce4 (top coil, stardust): vapes relatively well but can never Get the drip tip to align with the center tube so they all leak and gurgle often. also SI ce4 do not have replaceable heads.

I need help identifying the differences between the T, Ce and M series of clearomizers and diff brands and hopefully find one with most of these features:

+ no leaking, gurgling (yeah right, I know)
+ no burnt taste
+ long lasting
+ 808 thread
+ replaceable heads
+ easy fill
+ not so freaking fragile!
+ good TH

I'm asking toooooo much! Sorry.
I've spent a lot of money in one month on vaping and have yet to find my perfect set up or juice for that matter (whole other thread coming on that LITTLE topic)

Please help me if you can!!

ugh im not much help with 808 threads as ive never had one in my possession and dont plan on it if i could give any advice get a vapage
u-turn and throw an iclear 30 on it one of the best starters to my knowledge

Actually didn't think the iclears were all that great, maybe just a personal preference. I live close to the smokeless image/altsmoke store front and they let you sample many different things (which is awesome) so maybe I didn't vape on it long enough, idk. Im more into the ce4 and up series so far, just wanting to know what the m and t series are all about.

The Halo mini-tanks and Triton tanks (t2 style) are 808 threaded and work fantastic.

That's all I know of 808, but you could grab a 501/808 adapter.

No problems with my iclear16, iclear30, or Protanks. Not a single problem; no burnt hits, no wicking problems, nada.

I prefer the EVOD from Kanger. It is a smaller version of the T3/MT3. Not sure if it will need some kind of converter for an 808, as I have no experience, but this one has been the best for me. I had similar experiences with clearos as you have, and after much trial and error (more error than trial...lol) the EVOD works best for me.

See that is the thing, I've spent all my money on 808 xl batts and I do not want to use an adapter (cause it will not preform as well), so I need something that is 808 thread.
Anyone have any experience on keeping a t3 from gurgling??

Btw: I've already spent about 300 bucks on vaping stuff (incl. Juices)
In a month, so I need reasonably priced, lol.

I'm in much the same boat. Of the SI products, I've found I like the X2 clearo (ce4) the best, but none are perfect. I've also gone the adapter route, but again that's not perfect...and looks funny to boot. So on my X2s and Volts, I pretty much stick to cartos and the ce4.

I have recently started using an ego-T upgrade and am trying other clearos and tanks that are ego/510 compatible.

Not much help...just my experience...sorry.

I also get gurgling with my T3 clearos. Sometimes they do, sometimes not. Dunno what's up wit dat. The T3's that I got recently have metal shields.. maybe they won't bust if I drop one like the glass ones did.

I have 5 Kanger T3s from smokless image and never had a problem with them at all. Make sure to fill them up to the top line to lessen the amount of air until you start vaping it.

I only know 510 and ego threaded but...from all my searching I've found this...the protanks, the iclear 16 and the evod's are the best to me. I don't have gurgling or flooding with any of them and they all hit nice.

Also u may want to b sure your battery is fully charged when using the T3. You will have a better vaping experience. Atleast thats my opinion of the T3s bought from SI

When the mouthpiece is tightened down too much it can pull the tube out of the top or bottom metal rings.
With the mouthpiece off, place the clearo on a flat surface and press down firmly from the top.
It should click back in and the centerpost should now be centered again.

I have 6 of the SI t3's and everyone of them starts to gurgle after they are about 1/2 empty. Finding good 808 stuff is almost impossible unless you want to use cartomizers or an adapter. I just kept using the t3's and blowing out the tubes as they got flooded.

I broke my X2 last friday and replaced it with an ego twist. I replaced the t3 heads with evod heads and they work alot better now. Ran a full tank through two of them and not a drop in the tubes so far.

If you want to stick with the X2 carto tanks are probably your best bet. 808D Ecigarette Style - 3.5ml Dual Coil Tank | Vapor4Life This was going to be my next purchase.

Try Johnson's Creek for eliquid. I tried them because they make the menthol for Blu. Tundra is awesome, 30% Tundra and 70% Arctic is better vape consistency. If menthol aint your thing they have some good tobacco flavors.

In my limited time vaping I have only been using the Halo mini tanks (808 threads)
. Only got a burnt hit once and it was my fault... using a pass-through in the car on a long trip with a near empty tank = burnt wick. Those pass-throughs must cause a hotter burn. I have only had problems with juice in mouth after over filling or allowing it to lie on its side while full. Never had any leaking or breaking issues "Yet". While the mini tanks aren't rebuildable they can be "cleaned".

I am currently awaiting the arrival of a Triton Tank , replacement coils, and 900 mah bat.

Sweet, did not know that! one thing I found out with SI stardust is that the inner seal comes out very easily (not the mouth piece one) but I sat it right on top of the threads and took the ring off the mouth piece and it works better that way. also I figured out a way to take apart the SI ce4, clean the wick/coil without dry burning. Once that inner seal is out you can pull the little metal piece and cup right out to completely expose the wick. You can also put in your own coil and wick. I would just rather not have to do THAT lol.
I was looking at the vision stardust for 808 from smoktek, they have replaceable heads and are the same price as SI clearos. Does anyone have experience with those? Even the 510 threaded ones?

Anything with a replaceable head where everything comes apart for cleaning is better than the throw away units. imo.
I've not used any 808's however.

My issue with Halo Mini Tanks is that the tips slide on and off and they have condensation issues (tasting e juice every now and then). I have a G6 myself and am trying to find other 808 alternatives. I'm not fully sold on the CE3's based on various issues I have heard people have had with them, however Volt 808 nano tanks seem to be promising. They are a bottom coil construction with a screw on drip tip. Anyone given these a try before?
