So here goes...

1. If I'm going to switch from flavor to flavor, should I have different clearomizers for each flavor, or at least type of flavor?

2. How often should I be cleaning the clearomizer?

3. The vapor is starting to taste harsh. I've been keeping it as close to completely full as I can and I've been puffing on it (correct term for not inhaling?) a few times to try to clear any excess out, and that helps for a little bit, but goes back to being harsh pretty quick. What am I doing wrong?

:confused::confused::confused:

1 - It really depends. Are you still trying a bunch of different flavors or have you found a bunch you like. I have at least one clearo for each of my favorite juices. Then I have a bunch for trying other juices. If you are still searching, I would suggest having a few and trying to keep similar flavors when you switch. You can also rinse everything and allow to dry before changing juice.

2 - The clearo should be rinsed whenever you change flavors. It's a good idea to rinse the wick and coil too and allow to dry. If you use bottom coil clearos, you don't really need to rinse the wick because it's so short. If you are just putting the same juice back in, you can just rinse once a week.

3 - Harsh how? How long have you been using the same coil? It could be gunked up. What pg/vg ratio are you using? High VG is thicker and may gunk up the coil faster. What type of clearo are you using?

Personally, I use bottom coil T3s. When I switch juices, I take the coil out, rinse it off, then use a dry one for the new juice. The one I took out will be dry by the time I try a different juice. I have 7 T3s that I use with 2 coil heads for each. For my everyday juices, They stay in one tank with one head. I get at least a week or two out of the head and then I replace it.

I keep multiple clearos with different flavors in each. I do that because I change out flavors multiple times a day as the whim takes me. :)

Eventually the heads on clearomizers do get cruddy. First try is running the parts under hot water to clean it (assuming the clearo can be taken apart Some can't). If that fails you can dry burn the head then rinse again (many videos on you tube show exactly how to do this). Don't forget the rinse AFTER the dry burn to get the ash off. If all of that fails it is time to replace the head (if it is replaceable) or the clearo (if the head is NOT replaceable).

I run through the cleaning routine when the taste starts going off for me. How often that is depends alot on the individual juice and how much you are using that clearo.

Its been my experience that you can get that burnt taste in a couple of ways. You are either burning your juice by trying to vape it too hot, or you are flooding your coil and building up gunk that is burning. What kind of clearos do you have?

Edit: I have 3 or 4 clearos usually filled with different flavors. Clean them about once a week. Sometimes more often.
