2 ml (slightly less) How long has he had his?
The ring that holds the tip fits 801 style tips. I was able to get it out of the shell and use it for emdccs (that was when all they had was the giant round rubber spongy tip that I didn't like) and other things with a similar shell. It doesn't quite fit in a 3 ml tank shell but I'm sure I'll find a use for it again. So if worse comes to it, it's got a lot of pieces/parts that can be saved.

Well, the wife had me try one of her Stardust (CE4+) with the short wicks (it's been awhile since I used one).
I was impressed all over again with the taste, so I loaded 2 of them and went to work.
They were loaded with ECBlends Dragon's Blood which is light orange in color and a little on the sweet side (fruit flavor).
I vaped them half way then the juice turned really dark brown, thank goodness I had other CE2/CE3's for backups.

When I got home I took the dark heavy particulates from the 2 half full stardust's and filled a CE3 with it.
Holy Crap! that stuff tasted awful and it is completely unvapable!
I really need to push her towards another clearo device. I think she mainly likes them for ease of use (easy fill).

When I told her about this, she revealed that when it gets dark like that, that she has to dump it out.
So she is really wasting 1/2 of the juice!
I just ordered 350ml of juice this weekend and I'm not gonna waste half of it, so she is going to be getting new devices for sure.

This is one of the reasons I like the new CE3's as it takes several fills before this happens.

Me neither Voltron, I have more CE2's & CE3 enroute.
I was thinking of splitting them with the wife and letting her pick which style she likes.
I also ordered several of the V2 stardust (long wicks) this weekend, so we shall see how they go.
We have purchased the last of the short wick style without a doubt.

Skelley, I've had the same issues with the CE4's. Halfway through, the juice darkens and thickens considerably. With some juices I can keep on vaping, but others do become unvapable. Haven't had this issue with the fluxos.

I get the darkened juice with all my clearos, but I don't *think* I've gotten the thickened nasty tasting juice?

Maybe its because I dry burn so often and my coils are clear?

I agree with the clean coil thing. I think there are 2 types of 'darkening', one is the juice reaction with air & heat and the other is the juice mixed up with gunk in the coil... One is sort-of normal, the other is... yuck 8-o

that would certainly explain it. I'm a compulsive dry burner :) I've only popped two coils, and it always seems to happen when I haven't dry burned in a long time and the gunk REALLY piles up. All the more reason to do it regularly.

And I'm always happy to pop a coil, can always use some more practice rebuilding. Last one I did *with* solder and .999 silver wires took less than 5 minutes.

Need to post you guys some pics

I dissected the VZ DC clearo

The wicks are made of something weird alright...I don't wanna know what it is. I dry burned and they essentially burnt up to the point where a slight tug split it in half. Took a torch to it to see if it would hold up like silica, and it got white, super dry, and crumbled when I touched it LOL

can't wait to re wick it with cotton!

Hi fellas. I have been using the fluxomizers exclusively for the past several weeks, and have a couple of questions.

First of all, I've been modding them Skelley style with a sliced Volt moutpiece like Cyrus suggested. It works fine, but I was wondering where I can purchase plugs with a wider hole. Perhaps a hardware store?

Secondly, I have a question about dry burning the wick. Is it okay to dry burn without rinsing beforehand? I normally wash them before and after dry burning. I'm wondering if I can skip the first wash. Any feedback will be appreciated...

Hmmm, not sure where to buy plugs, but you could try making the hole bigger using a drill and bit if you have one available.

I rinse them in hot water as it will break down the juice then I do a dry burn and install.
Water seems to vaporize quicker which in turn will get you through the dry burn faster also.
I don't do a second rinse after dry burn anymore. Just blow it off and assemble.

If it's a quick dry burn to clean it off after you've vaped through it, it should be fine. The bottom line is coils should look nice and white and the coil should glow with no dark spots. It's just easier to get the gunk off if it's been soaked and alcohol helps it sizzle. Use caution when dry though. I seem to pop them more when they are dry.

I know its a 510 but...

Got a GP humongo today, ordered with the intention of turning it into a Cheap Line; this thing hits real nice! Basically a mega fluxo that works 'out of the box' so far. Nice! I ordered the 3.0 ohm and some how its kicking clouds, gotta check the resistance when I can be bothered.
