BTW I gave up on my eGo tank atty and PIF'd it. Lack of flavor and no less fuss than dripping IMHO.

I gave up on mine too, but keeping it as a "just in case". Once I adjusted the wick, no more acrid taste, but the juice is pretty tasteless. I'm using my Boge cartos instead.
Gotvapes.com has them. I was considering buying them but didn't know if I could remove the metal tube like the clear tubes.

What I have is a MAP tank that uses the CE-2 XL (Metal not clear) cartos. that have to be cut down to fit the tank. My problem is that I can't find anybody that sells these CE-2's??????

As to removing the tubes. What often happens is that the wicking gets a little crushed in there and I find it easier to remove the tube to fluff and open up the wick a little, rather than doing it by removing the filling plug. Here is a video by badkolo (ECF member and gotvapes.com associate) discussing this

Please dont make me read this whole thread,I want to know about the Ego T attys and the tank things that go in them.Someone told me I can use them on my GLV with a 510-901 and a 901-510 adapters.Are they worth the money to try them.I didnt care for the fluxomizers much,but these look different.Do the have wicks in them?Tell me everything.please.

Mine didn't ever leak, and the burnt taste was remedied by pushing the wick down a tiny bit. It muffled juice flavors too much for me, so I cleaned it and PIF'd it.
As with all PVs, some people love them some hate them. You can also use a 510 extension charging adapter instead of two other adapters. I have not had the problem of leaking or burnt taste and find them very convenient.
I am building my own now. I find the standard CE2 R4s in a mini size tank vape better then the XLs in the larger tanks.
I gave up on the clear ce2's and all the cracking tubes. The homemade tanks work MUCH better and hold so much juice! Not to mention they are so easy to fill just unscrew the top fill it and screw it back on
