I have the fasttech kayfun lite clone. Or they say it is. But It could be a counterfit now I think about it. The box is a kayfun logo. The bottom has a kayfun logo and exact wording te original has. Other than one build aspect( the deck seems to be angled) it looks exactly like the original.

Did I buy a knockoff/counterfit?

In a word, yes.

Without arguing semantics, a clone is a knock-off. If they call it a 1:1 then it's a direct copy.

There's already too many clone debates out there which all come down to the same conclusions: Clones aren't going anywhere any time soon. If it bothers you, spend the extra dough and be sure to get an authentic. If it doesn't bother you, go ahead and buy them. If it sort of bothers you, look for "Original Design _______ Style" atomizers.

Vote with your dollar.

You went to Fasttech
You paid 1/5-1/8 the cost of an original
You did not notice the Description Says Kayfun STYLED
No, You bought a Knock-off, a Counterfeit would be sold as an Original at a high price with intent to defraud.

If you feel ripped off, you should blame yourself, not Fasttech. If you were hoping you got a good deal, well I'd think so.
I have 6 Fasttech Kayfuns, all $14 or less and they all work great. I always have all of them in my rotation with different builds and flavors.

I must disagree. Like PC"clones" they were almost identical to the IBM PC, but no "PC" designation, or IBM logos. They were and are "clones". Nearly identical to what they are copying.

A counterfiet is a clone that uses the copied products' logos, and is unauthorized to do so. Even if they are not being SOLD as gen, they are still ripping off the trademarked logo. Even if a fake Rolex is being SOLD as a " replica", they still rip off every logo and security measure. They are counterfeit, regardless whether they are sold as such, or being passed off as gen.
