I'm chiming in here. But I still have a lot to read yet.
No...no you don't.
There is nothing of value here.
You've got the same old group of anti-clone people, arguing with the same old group of pro-clone people.
There are some new names and faces on both sides, whom I've never seen, but as soon as they voice their opinions, they show their true colors and their names no longer matter.
Please Ca Ike...don't waste your time.
You'll just end up reading "I love my clones. They work just as good as the authentics." from Ricks like 7,000 times, with boring, repetitive verbal assaults from everyone else, peppered in between. Dice that in with some folks (from both sides) who try to bash each other over the head with "facts", only to have the opposite side reply with "Nuh uh! THIS is true...not THAT!" like a bunch of schoolyard children.
In the end, we all lose, because non-vapers who read this stuff think we SHOULD have our community taxed, banned, outlawed, and/or shut down.
How do I know that? Because I had two non-vaping friends of mine read this thread. Then I had one read the Kayfun Lite thread, and the other read the Kayfun v4 thread. I figured these three threads had been through the entire gamut of the clone argument, and would be a good cross-section to view both sides of the fence on this topic.
Now, both of these people are screen writers in Hollywood (no, nobody famous, just successful), so they're comfortable with reading a lot of material.
After they were done, I asked them what they thought.
They both (independently) agreed that, while both sides of the clone arguments are equally pathetic, the pro-clone warriors are the ones who typically start the arguments. They didn't see one instance where anyone bashed a clone for no reason, out of the blue...but noted many occasions where pro-cloners would become aggressively defensive over clones, simply because someone was describing love for an authentic. They did point out moments where anti-cloners got defensive too, but only AFTER the pro-clone banner had been waved.
Remember, these are two non-vaping, independent people, who do not know each other. They've never smoked, and look at me like an extraterrestrial when I vape. I figured their opinion(s) would give me a fairly unbiased look at what is going on here, and in the vaping community.
So, take from this what you will. Remain in denial if you wish. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm unsubscribing from this thread, and blocking/ignoring every person who takes part in a similar argument ever again...on BOTH sides.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, "Good riddance!" I know. But I just thought I'd give all of you a little glimpse from outside the box.
