I've had my RSM's two years and they're still my favorite wood mods, thanks Cappy.

If the Curly tiger maple body/Koa door & panel Destroyer isn't spoken for I'd love to add it to my collection.

Thanks, yes those pics were taken a few days after they sailed into port. They still look new, I use Howards feed and wax every few months.

Cappy, I want a bottom feed 18650 w/ DNA30.

I PREFER as light a wood as possible (preferably quilted or patterned) with a nice spalted door like SuperTrunker has. I'm in love with your decorations (stripes) too. On the other hand, super dark, like Ebony, would work as well, I just have too many mid-toned brown mods, and I love decorations.

Well, knowing from past conversations what you like and have expressed a desire for, I looked for the nicest piece of spalted wood I had left. It happened that the sister to the piece I used for your 'favorite' caught my attention so I made a Cutlass with it using the same Curly tiger maple body I used in the picture you posted.

They look pretty similar except for different patterns.

And ahoy all.

I spent the entire day hand sanding mods. Filling in little holes, sanding out scratches, I think they are looking great so far.

I'm in a rush, but I'm trying not to rush, if you know what I mean? I'm taking them all the way down to 600 grit and getting out all the scratches I can find before I put on the first coat of finish. The ebony and stabilized especially show off scratches easy so I'm trying to sand them down to a glass finish. Slow work though, I should be finished with them tomorrow then they can start getting some finish applied. (yawn) ... think I will stop for the night though...

After months of fooling around with them, It boils down to 2 choices for me, use a clone or don't make them.

They will have a warranty as usual.
