So what batteries are you all using in the DNA20's ?
Yup, the Panasonic 2900 mAh batteries are awesome in a dna-20; they last a really long time. They're rated 10A contrinuous, which is plenty for a DNA 20, however, it's marginal for a DNA-30. The 2600 mAh Sony VTC5 is probably the best battery available for a DNA 30 at the present time.

RM2, Divo (BF), Cyclone (BF), Chalice, Modified Igo-S.

I got my Cutlass and it's beautiful! Using a Sony 18650 2600 and an RM2. Couldnt get the RM2 to fire without a 510 adapter though. ..
Loving the mod.

Sweet looking, try backing the center pin of the RM2 out just a bit, some of them shipped just little to far in. This thread shows how they are put together http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...2-full-atomizer-itself-rebuild-pic-heavy.html

In this photo the one on the left is too far in, the center I've found work on most mods and right is just little farther out.

Thanks for the info again. I thought that might be the case but believe it or not the firing pin on my RM2 wasn't slotted so I didn't know if they adjusted or not. So I used some really skinny tipped needle nosed pliers and backed it out a little. Works like a charm now. Thx for the info "filthy"!

Ahoy all! Stands and mods arriving, pics being posted, it's all good!

I started picking out wood for the next batch. I spoke to Brandon at evolv vaper today and I will be getting a shipment of the new DNA20 boards from him in the next few weeks so it looks like I'm good to go, time to start building.

Desk caddy sales tanked again, so it looks like I might get an easy weekend for a change!

Just got a Friday to get through and then it's fun time, arrrr

Brandon is truly a class act. He personally saw to the repair of my Darwin for me, when it came back refusing to recharge itself, after a battery replacement. It's so rare that someone with a successful new product takes the time to look after his old customers. I'm going to have to reward that behavior by buying something with his newest chip in it!

the fully loaded "after" pics will have to wait til i find or source some wood glue.

i'm guessing the best way is to glue both ends, fit top and bottom and put my encyclopedia brittanica or a cast iron skillet or sumpin on top while it sets?

these are sexy beautiful. thank you, Cap'n!

I'm waiting to see Dennis's 25 hole mega-caddy!
(greedy SOB ;) )

I have 2 of the 5 hole ones, but they are inexplicably full of mods right now, much to HRH's irritation :D

Need more overtime to keep up with my hobby!

T
You could put a 10 box mod caddy behind each one, then they'd look like 15 box mod caddies and you'd have plenty of room for expansion.

Very nice I'm going to love see the loaded pic.

It doesn't need to be any special wood glue since it's not going to take a lot of stress. I just used super glue even though I had good wood glue in a box in the garage.

Wait if you'er going to pick it up by the top deck to move 50 mods you better get great glue.

Oh yeah, really a nice guy, we had a nice long chat about the state of e-cigs and what the future might hold. He talked about some new stuff coming down the pipeline from his outfit, good things coming. It was nice for a little guy like me to chat with someone so far up the vape chain of command, heh.

He also made some great improvements to the DNA20 boards that I am happy to see as well.

This upcoming batch will have 3.7v mods as well as DNA20 mods and I am pretty sure they will also feature reverse battery protection (finally) as had been mentioned before on the thread.

As for gluing the desk caddies, I usually make the pegs tight fitting enough anymore that you don't need glue, but, with so many pegs involved in the large 8, 10 and 25 box caddies I made them a bit more loose so the assembly would be easier.

Superglue. A single small drop smeared around where wood touches wood and you should be good to go. Do the top first if the bottom holes seem more loose. When they are dry, do the other side. Or if your brave, do them all at once!

Arrrrrr!
