The issues were all my fault due to not being familiar with mod.All RDAs now working. Just had to use one of the included magnets to tighten up battery connections. The wear on the walnut finish reminds me of 30+ years sitting in the woods with another walnut tool.Good memories.EDIT thought this didn't go thru the first time .Tried to change it to be PC.

Ahhh, okay, that makes perfect sense. I got the impression these were newer than the recent batch. Thanks Filthy-Beast!

There was a batch of mods sold a few weeks ago, probably just before you found this thread. People are posting their photos from that batch. Cappy will be starting on another batch soon so keep watching for updates.

Ahoy all! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Well, I don't know whats going on with the regulators. I was supposed to get a couple o' the new DNA20 regulators to test a while ago, hopefully they come in soon. I believe I am also on the waiting list for the next batch of DNA20D regulators but I'm not sure when they will be ready to go.

Instead of waiting any longer, I'm going to finish the desk caddies as usual this weekend and then start a small batch of Cruisers (3.7v tank mods) that will hopefully just take a couple of weeks to finish and by then have some word on whats up with the voltage regulators.

Not much else I can do. Should I also make some Marauders? (3.7v inset mods)

I FINALLY received a part that I had ordered 2 weeks ago and was able to repair a broken belt sander so the shop is back at 100% again.

I wonder if I will get a Easter basket this year? Hope so, even geezers need candy love,

arrrrrrr

My guess is that DNA20 production is is on the back burner and Evolv is running DNA30s as fast as they can, 'cause that's what the demand is for now (the DNA20 being so "last year").

I'm curious: Is there a reason why you're sticking to DNA20s when the DNA30 is a drop-in replacement and priced the same?

From what I've been told, the DNA20 has been upgraded with features the DNA30 does not yet have and is going to be priced lower. The DNA30 also pumps out too much power in my opinion. I don't feel like having to replace collapsed battery springs, scorched and melted wiring or deal with freaked out owners who smell something burning when they try to push 10 amps of power cause they think it's cool.

My failure/return rate with the new models/DNA20s is zero, I would like to keep it that way for as long as I can :)

Happy Easter me 'earties, arrrr!

While it's a drop in in size a change to larger ga wires is required.
