Just talked to Joanne, she is feeling better but they are going to keep her for a couple more days. This happens several times a year anymore so don't worry too much, just routine maintenance for Crohn's disease, heh.

Damn Waho, best be looking for ways to conserve with a bill like that. When we moved into this house ours was even higher but we've cut it in half by sealing up leaks, raising the temp in the house during summer and other little things. Good luck!

I think a majority of the issue was my girlfriend not having central air before and opening up windows and setting it at 70. Combined with the fact the basement has registers on the finished side when it really doesn't need A/C.
I know Cappy is famous for his mods but I received a semi custom desk caddie today and it is just what I was wanting. Great guy with a great product. Customer service is just a bonus!

Joanne is back home again, feeling much better and thanks you for your kind wishes.
I'm afraid I didn't touch the batch today, real life slapped me in the face and I spent the day running around to find a replacement fan for the central air conditioner. Nobody would sell me the thing because I wasn't a AC repair business so I had to buy a generic motor and retrofit it to work. So after some rewiring and a bit of work with the acetylene torch to shorten the shaft I have a AC again. Pity about the rain today, sigh ....
I'm taking the rest of the day off...... har!

We got a cold blast up north here, not quite enough to turn the furnace on (65 during the day, low 50's overnight) but it's darn chilly. Wearing a sweatshirt in July, it's crazy!
