Does anyone know where to get screw caps for the bottles that go in the RSM ?

Here's what I had in mind for travel, without the tube and top.

If you pull the nipple/tube insert off a 6ml Reo bottle cap fits.

Ahoy all!

Caps? I toss those as the SS tube makes it impossible to use them after I make a bottle. I can also send you a bunch as I spent the whole day making a batch of 100 bottles and the tops are all in the garbage.

I hate making bottles... argg.. cut 100 1" SS tube pieces, sand ends smooth, drill out 100 bottle tops with drill press, shove SS thru tip, cut and attach 100 2" tubes...soooo boring and tedious.....glad I'm done for another batch.

Finally can get back to the batch tomorrow, but I had to make bottles as I have a accessories kit order pending I need to fill first. Ah well...

Have great Friday all, yo ho!

Was thinking of popping off the top/tube, filling, and screwing on a cap.
That way a fresh one could be swapped in with minimal effort when out and about - like on the water in two weeks :D

Unless I'm already doing it wrong....

Aye... won't be any 2 minutes next time for me !
Especially looking forward to a Cutlass as my next RSM.

Pretty soon I'm gonna need one of Cappy's desk caddies too.
Solid American cherry wood...

Greetings crew! I hope this Friday finds everyone well. Too bad I have work Saturday, got way too much to do and no time to do it!
By the way, thanks you two for the bump on my FS thread. I always feel silly bumping it myself even though everyone does it :)
Ditto on feeling weird, thanks for the bumps on my recent ad as well!

Ahoy!

Yeah what ST said. I make posts fairly often as to the current state of the batch I'm working on.

Speaking of which, today I shaved off the excess door material with the band saw and belt sanded them flush to make it easier to drill out the catch cup / tank holes. I mount them standing up in the cnc machine and use that to make perfect holes. I used to use the drill press but occasionally things went bad and I would lose a mod, ouch.

So far I am in love with 3 of the cutlass's, I'm gonna take one for myself but I'll be darned if I know which one yet. I always take one of the first new model types for myself to use & test and the dna30 is a major upgrade methinks and I deserve one!

Have a great day all, arr
