Damn, dropped my Pinch in the driveway and it landed on the drip tip that DJ made for me out of the same block of wood. Chipped the lip and there is a hairline crack going down the side about 1/4 inch. Going to be about an 1/8th of an inch shorter after I sand that chip out and put some CA back on it. At least it is salvageable, could have been much worse. Note to self: Next time get multiples made.

Ouch, I'm glad it wasn't worse.

Sorry to hear this, Mundy. I hope you get it fixed and working well for you.

I am always worried about dropping mine. Have often thought about putting one of those vape bands around it but those things are too ugly to put on my beautiful Pinch. If I could find a clear one....

Ouch. You should be able to CA it where the crack isn't noticeable. Give me a call if you need any help with it.

Jeez, I hate those people who come to work sick and cause everyone else to catch what they have. Second week back at work and numerous people were spreading around a stomach bug. Thought I was safe, but it hit me this morning about 330am. Been up ever since. Started feeling better after lunch, now it's game on again...argh. Thankfully from what I have heard is it only lasts about 24hrs, but it certainly has wrecked my day. Hope nobody else is having to deal with this, as it sucks.

Did finish another mod yesterday and I see the light at the end of the tunnel for the last of my repair work. Then it's back to tips 100% till caught up.

That's not a light, it's a nerve spasm in your eye :w00t:

Do not go into the light. Stay away from the light.

Hope you are better now.

Wow, I really overslept today. Guess I just made up for that hour I lost and the lack of sleep the night before. But thankfully, the bug seems to be gone now. Even though I lost a day of work, it was still a pretty productive weekend considering where I was before. Going to try and get out a couple more mods today. Then only one left till I am totally finished with repairs.....yah! Actually looking forward to more tip time. Once they are all turned, the CA portion is more relaxing to me. I do also enjoy time on the lathe too, but it's still a bit uncomfortable for very long.

Anyway, hope everyone remembered to adjust the clocks today, as it would suck to be late tomorrow. Though it really is a stupid concept in today's world. It's the seasons, deal with it!

Utterly amazing how USPS mangles packages. Good thing I use lots of extra padding around things. I think they must play soccer with our packages. I'm just happy it all arrived in good shape. Always a risk putting your packages in their hands. Funny part is I certainly would think a box is better than a bubble pack, which is why I use both....LOL. Crap, just realized it's past my bedtime. I FKG hate getting up at 4am. Tomorrow is the first day being back to full job functions and fulls days...argh. Gonna miss those half days. Night all.

Looking good Gig! :w00t:

Those nipple tips (nup-nip-tips) are really nice looking. I can hardly wait to see how mine turn out.

Good to see you back to the grind DJ. Hang in there bud. :thumb:
