he fell in the bathroom and caught the corner of the sink on the way down - 5 cracked ribs and a damaged left lung .... sigh
hospital here did not think they could handle it once they saw air and blood seepage on the x-rays. so off to the duke trauma center he went last wednesday

Just next time hit him a little softer or maybe cushion your frying pan. None of us are getting any younger.

some better, bob chest tube was removed yesterday and they'll try to have him do without the epidural today. if that goes well he'll be transferred to a skilled nursing facility tomorrow. that'll cut the daily driving from 4hrs to 2hrs! can't come soon enough for me!
