Well it's been a hell of a week. Storms each night, waking me up, one of them had a strike close enough to induce a surge into my house, but luckily I only lost one item. Though it did have to be a nice home theater receiver....sigh....guess it was time for an upgrade again anyway.
We got my mom admitted to the hospital on Tuesday evening, but she can't start cancer treatment until they can stop all the fluid buildup in her pleural sac around her right lung and find the cause. They drained two more liters this morning. That is two full size soda bottles in just over one week.....jeeez. And she is too weak for treatment from dealing with the lung issue. Catch 22. We are still waiting on test results to determine for sure what form of cancer it is too. Amazing to me how many types that can inhabit the same locations in your body. But thinking positive that it is one that responds better to treatment and that treatment can be started soon.
Plus I had mandatory training at work yesterday and today, which is torture. But we will see how this week plays out. I fully intend on getting my tips and buttons caught up this 7 day break, just don't know what days things will happen to throw me off schedule. When i am at home, it helps me to stay busy to keep my mind occupied anyway.
