Thanks, she starts one of the new chemo drugs Tuesday. All we can do is hope and pray for now. Seems like the fluid isn't building up on her lungs as fast right now.
Working night now and getting little sleep. Just hoping for a little good news at some point to help my anxiety.
Thanks so much extended family! Means a lot. Today was the first day of the battle. She received her first chemo and it went very well. It's a very new chemo drug and not making her nauseated and not supposed to make her loose her hair either. I feel like I can finally clear my head a little now that things are finally in motion and plan is organized which includes nutrition and vitamins. Far too many doctors just give drugs and don't treat the body as a whole. I feel so much better knowing this doctor also looks at the holistic approach too. I've seen so many people loose the battle due to the decline from not keeping the rest of their body healthy to help fend against the poison sent in to kill the cancer.
Now that I feel she's being treated correctly, maybe I can finally start sleeping and getting some of my work accomplished.

Was just thinking about you brother. Sounds like your Mom is starting on the right foot! So glad to hear she has a good, conscientious Dr

I am a bit confused by the assumption that they are trying to regulated vaping out of concern for the public health. They have been presented with enough documentation and factual studies to show proof they are far better than traditional cigarettes. I find it doubtful they did this out of concern for our welfare.
