Ok, guess we didn't need the bullet after all. Just heard Bob's shoulder surgery went well today. I am sure he will be back tomorrow, ornery as usual. At least we had a break for a day....LOL.

Woohoo, survived to another 7 day break! Hope everyone has been doing ok lately?

Little update, my mom had her last bio chemo treatment last Tuesday and then three weeks from then, they have another PET scan scheduled to determine how effective the treatment was. She has been doing great, feeling better and not had any fluid buildup on her lung since after the second treatment. So we have our fingers crossed and praying for a clean scan!

Hey folks, just checking in to see how everyone's doing? Got a short break from work now but just got in some cool new toys. Finally decided to quit messing around with the hobby grade CNC controller and software. Yesterday I got in a commercial grade controller and software package which I am hoping makes a big difference in some of the things I can get accomplished now. The hobby grade stuff was always just a bunch of tweaking and never getting things exactly right, where the new equipment is actually much more simple to setup and way more powerful. Hopefully soon I will actually have more time to get good at using it.

Anyway, things are ok here and I hope to be back on the forum more soon. Still have a lot of things needs accomplishing and curious to see how weird things get now that it's past Aug 8.

Thanks brother. Mom's doing really well and had her post treatment PET scan yesterday. We won't get the results till next Tuesday. On pins and needles till then. But based on how big of an improvement I've seen in her, I'm thinking very positive we're getting good news.
