Thanks for the happy returns for Miss Count. She was quite happy with her presents, but will have to wait for a less busy time for her party.

Ordered an adjustable bed for my mom today. Of course, it was only after it was ordered that we found out we needed a full-size rather than a queen. The difference is officially only six inches, but the dimensions of her bedroom are that confining. So... back and forth with the store, but I was able to get it changed. Of course, that means she'll have to wait for another week so that they can ship the base from out of state. But, hey, at least it's done.

Tonight is another opportunity to eat and drink for the kids--only my son's report (which is due tomorrow) is woefully behind. He's been working on it for a week and a half and has about three paragraphs--out of a total of seven sections he needs (each having multiple paragraphs) for the finished product. It's not as if he doesn't know what to do--he did a similar report in class (on which I'm basing the multiple paragraphs per section idea). His loss, though: we told him he couldn't play with his toys, with friends, or even watch much TV until he made progress on it... Anyway, eating and drinking for the kids will have to be take-out, as we need him to do the work. Oh, and did I mention there was also a diorama?

Good night, Treefam!

W day down and we went from 30 to 74, was inside and the building held the cold for a long time. One thing I like about these videos reminds me of a few things. I was in this wreck once, three lanes on the highway off ramp. The vehicle to my left was to turn left only, I in the middle had a choice of left or straight and started left when there was this huge crunching sound. I and the lady go to the side and over into a parking lot and she starts to freak out.

I go and pick up her bumper, back out and pick up her side panel, back out and pick up her antenna and a few more small ends. So about twenty minutes later, the cop finally shows and is glaring at me like I must be made and I sensed it. "Do I look upset to you, look at my tie.' 101 Dalmatians, never was one to conform to big corporations. Three of us males in the same department even thought we should try to get others to dress well and in time we had a contest. "The ugliest tie." contest. They assured me I would lose as they had ties from the 60's....... No I won and still have that tie.

Can not remember if I have said this before, but you know the old commercial, at least it does not play here anymore that I have noticed. "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll, tootsie pop?" Well I know, you have never tried after being asked? 38....... Everyone puts on their pants one leg at a time, once a year at least I do both at the same time...... You always find what you are looking for, in the last place you look, again once a year at least I make sure to look one more place..... :D
