Hey Lori, I haven't gotten that out to you yet, but I will do it as soon as possible.

Hey JF, I sent you an email, so if you could get back to me as soon as you can, I would appreciate it.

I totally understand. I average 2 weeks, often longer to get a package out. I have to send my evic to be re repaired. They swore it left them working. Said if I feel that it may have been damaged in the mail send it back. That is over 2 weeks now. I'm sure they consider it closed. I will probably end up paying again. Whatever. That goes with being disabled. Some days I can others I can't.

What would be the point to this?
From what I understand the MAOI's are what gives the calming effect that cigarettes have...
Hey J. After speaking with you a while ago and doing a lot of research. Is there anyway of getting wta without the Mao (b)

Could you run this by your chemist when time permits?

Thanks, Mr. Fresh.

Ha! That link of Mao (b) is Kinabaloo's avi. LOL

Lori, has your doctor explained or hypothesized on why it's possible for any properties of WTA to effect you negatively, but not having those same allergies to the same properties in burning tobacco? It would be no different from having a nicotine allergy in vaping but not in smoking. I find that to be most curious. 25 mg or lower WTA wouldn't be in a higher concentration than that found in a cigarette, and it would likely be absorbed at or around (probably not more of) the same rate that it would be in smoking (minus the tar and heavy doses of carcinogens delivered by smoking). Curious indeed as nothing is added in WTA, and what is in it (as you know) is the alkaloids from tobacco. I really hope you find an answer to your issues, but I don't believe that level of isolation is going to be possible for JF.

Have you tried snus? It's worth a try if you haven't. The same properties are going to be there as in WTA and smoking, but like vaping WTA, snus is also going to allow for the omission of a slew of the stuff that we were/are trying to get away from in smoking.

Interesting Avi! No one can figure it out. Now I cant even link the whole thing together. WTA is extremely calming more so than a cig. I love it but.... So I am gonna try 1 drop wta with 2 drops 12mg juice when I am about to smoke. BTW I bought the 17mg. 25 would be way too strong. Snus has such a negative connotation to me.

Snus has a negative connotation? Not snuff or chew, but snus? Snus is a good thing. I hope RothenBJ, Dvap, Hittman, or Stubby can talk to you about the wealth of research about snus because it has been studied for years with little to no evidence of anything negative. The pasteurization of the tobacco in snus inhibits the formation of TSNAs, so it is essentially nothing but the good stuff. There is a forum here on ECF dedicated to snus and those guys can help get you outfitted with a good place to begin. I think you should exhaust all options on the table--snus should be on the table.

Thanks. I just found the smokeless tobacco are but I will start with your link. As always much appreciated!

Man, those members are loaded with information! Stubby has been around the block many, many times. As a matter of fact, he was right there in the thread when WTA was first created and he's still around. Rothenbj is also still here fighting on behalf of all vapers.

I got my WTA unflavoured today, was getting worried, as the tracking in the US said it was at Chicago since the 8th, and it was unknown here on the tracker. But no hassle, the postie dropped it, or more like blocked it :p , in the letter box today.

Now that I've got it in my hot little hands, I have a question, about MIXING, so if there's another section there, move my post please, Mr. Moderater ;)

When I mix my juice normally, I always leave the top off for the first 12 to 24 hours. I use alcohol based concentrates, and, after much experimenting (well, not all that much view the options!) I find they have a much nicer, less artificial taste like that.
OK, but considering the volatile, so I've come to understand, nature of WTA's, would this practice be damaging to them, I'm asking.

Hope that there's an informed DIYer out there, who can give me some real advice on this matter, as I'm perturbed for the moment.
It's not the normal top on/off discussion, as I've my own opinion on that considering the flavouring I use, but specifically for flavouring WTA liquid...
So HELP!!!! Please.............

And as for the Snus which I'd always thought of as chewing tobacco, I'm going straight over there to be less ignorant, so thanks for the link. Not that I'm too lazy to look for it, but it is a help to have it under my nose...well, OK, I'm a lazy so-and-so, I admit it

I don't think leaving the caps off will matter one bit either way (positively or negatively) for the WTA (at least not for your 12-24 hrs).

I would tend to concur with Mr. Mann that "airing out" the bottle shouldn't be necessary, nor would it likely affect the e-liquid in any way. VG is a very stable base for alkaloids and oxidation isn't the issue it can be with PG bases, which still would not be an problem for a day or two (or probably much longer). You're cool either way. :)
