How do you like working with that stabilized wood? I have heard it can be a bit tricky.
I don't mind working with stabilized woods at all. The important thing is the wood has to be stabilized correctly and then its not bad to work. I would much rather work with stabilized woods rather than long grain woods like black palm.

My wife just placed an order for a couple of SM boxes for us. Would have liked a mini feeder for myself, she thinks feeders are 'goopy' but tapped out right now on fundage hehe. We really do appreciate the discount tho as that helped us afford to buy these. Mine is the wenge and paduk, much prettier than hers LoL
that leopard wood is killer, and that solid body ironwood burl is indescribable...great stuff Marcus, glad to see a couple of them gone already (although I might have bit on that leopard wood myself!)
You will really like the mini, It is really small and can just about get lost in your pocket.
The leopard wood is in my top five wood choice list for sure. I have some other Ironwood burl VV's too that have even more voids and inclusions than the one I have listed right now and they are definitely beautiful. I will be listing a bunch of other boxes later tonight as well. I am taking part of today off and right now I am smoking some brisket and some pork so I have to try and keep from drooling too much till its ready lol.
I really like the Bogger Box I have, a bottom feeder and VV. I am holding out for a stabilized or aluminum one.
I will start adding stabilized in stock boxes within the next week or so and also I will have the stabilized wood available for all custom orders too. Right now I am hoping to have the aluminum boxes ready within the next month.

well, my new mini showed up today...ebony with snakewood caps and inlay..it is absolutely stunning to say the least. I keep having to touch the snakewood inlays to make sure they are flush with the body cause it sure looks 3 dimensional to me! I LOVE the size of this box..very much like a REO 18490..just a tad taller and a tad thicker....and infinitely more beautiful. Thanks for rasslin' with that snakewood for me Marcus..I might suggest you use this combination for some of your stock mods...I'm sure they would be very very popular
