I love my Bogger Box! I've only had it just under a week, and am already in love! But I could use a little advice.

I tried using (my first) rba...an A7 and a A7 Mini. I was able to get the ohms where I wanted them (2ohm), and couldn't detect any hot spots or anything, but the vape was way too harsh. I even changed my juice recipe to reduce the strength of my flavor...to no avail. It was so harsh it actually HURT, and I'm afraid my palate and throat were damaged and it'll probably take a couple of days to heal. Therefore...RBA is OUT for me. Not gonna work. I was going to use them exclusively on the Bogger. Oh well. Sooooooo

Now I'm on the hunt for budget friendly atomizers and/or cartomizers. I have some super shorty smok cartos that I can use for now...but MV is forever running out of them, and I really do like the taste of atomizers. I have a Cisco Spec 306 LR atty that works well with the Bogger...but it's a trifle high priced for someone like me that vapes heavily (10ml. a day...3.5mg. nic). I don't know how long those guys will last, so I would like some alternative suggestions. Anyone have any input? I just ordered a couple of Boge 2ohm atomizers from VBeast...the price was good and I thought I'd try 'em out. Hoping for more ideas. TIA!

EDIT: I never vape under 2 ohm. My favorite range is 2 to 2.4 ohm (no higher on a mechanical). As you may have surmised...my throat can't tolerate a hot vape in any way shape or form! lol!

I know I've been waiting for him to send my DNA20 back to me after I was a victim of a faulty DNA20 chip (I'm having kick nightmares but I'm trying to stay positive maybe it's just a 1 off and this chip really is more reliable than the kick I hope I hope I hope) and the waiting is driver me kabonkers

I received shipping notification for both DNA20'sMonday the 24th, one was ordered 4/28 & the second on 4/30. I did modify the second order on 5/11, adding work to the Custom DNA, so 6 weeks is more than acceptable for a Customized product. I still don't have any Tracking updates through USPS but I should receive them by Friday 5/28... looking forward to getting them.

fourthrok, you might try the Empire Mods SR atties, reasonably priced and they work very well.

Oh ...I guess this thread is just about the DNA20 and custom boxes? Didn't know that. Sorry about my atomizer/cartomizer question for the standard BF Bogger. I'll find the right section. Good luck to those who ordered the DNA ones! I'm sure they'll be nice.

Don't be sorry, and don't give up here as I'm sure someone can offer some advice. I'm an RBA guy so I can't help you...sorry. I will say that I think you've given up on RBAs way too soon though. There is a small learning curve but in my opinion offer a much better vape than atomizers and for sure cartos ( I really can't believe people still use those ). But hey if they're not for you, they're not for you and I'm sure with all of the options available you'll find what you're looking for.
How about it Rob, can you offer suggestions for fourthrok?

I do not use RBAs at all. My visual acuity and physical dexterity do not allow me to do that kind of thing.

The best atomizer I have found is the Vapage HMG Hybrid, which I use in a 2 ohm configuration. I am using a BB DNA20D set at between 7 and 8 watts. I also use the cisco spec atomizers and find them to be a very good second. They should be equivalent to your Boge ones as well. I have used the super shorties (cartomizers) but find that atomizers are worlds better. The Vapage atomizers come in a two pack for $18, which I paid full price for to test. Now that I know I love them, I will wait for a 50% off sale from Vapage. The other vendor I spoke with said that Vapage made him sign an agreement that he would not charge less than them for all of the Vapage stuff he carries.

Hi Fourthrok,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

The A7 needs a hole drilled into the side otherwise it vapes horribly.

Call around at local shops to see if one will drill it for you.

If not than PM me, I'll send you my A7 top with a drilled hole.

I don't use A7 because I'm nervous about the bottom post which has a reputation for shorting out.

I stongly suggest that you purchase a Reomizer from Reo Mods it's the easiest to set up, best bottom feeding atomizer on the market and reasonably priced. I can send you some FC-2000 it works great on the Reomizer and is really easy to set up.!!

Just PM me if you want some help.

I'm going to set up a A7 at between 1.5 and 2 Ohm and get it working at around 3.5V which is what the Bogger Box should put out under load at 3.8.

Than I'll send to Fourthrock.

We'll see if we can change Fourthroks mind about RBA!!
And certainly change her mind that this thread is only about the upcoming DNA20D

I'm going to send her some of my juice too, so that we take out the variable of whether her juice isn't right for RBA.

I'd still recommend the EM Atties just get the LR.

As to regular premade attys, I have not use a lot of them on my Boggers but of the ones I have tried, HH357 1.5, Vapage BF 2.0, Joye 510 LR, I liked the Vapage attys the best. A lot of it comes down to personal preference of course but these seemed to work really well before I started using RBAs exclusively.

Oh and Forthrok, this thread is not just for the DNA boxes, it is for all Boggers. ;)

Fourthrock is very well versed in the little stick atomizers. It's the world of RBA that she wants to enter. I started out on the Stick Atomizers and moved to RBA. It's a totally different vaping experience. RBA is way better.

Just for her info if that what she wants.I'm sure they are the bomb, personally I'm just not interested in them at this point.regular "stick" work fine for me.Different stokes I guess.

The main reason I was looking into RBAs was my budget. Buying wick and wire (after the initial investment of the RBA device itself) would be much more thrifty than $6 to $9 a pop for atomizers like the pro spec shifus or the Cisco specs....much as I love those atomizers. At any rate...I appreciate Tom's generous offer, but tbh...I'm not that optimistic the RBA is going to work out for me. Just felt, for my bank account's sake, I ought to try!

RBA's rock I haven't used a standard atomizer in about a year and I don't miss them I still have a big box of them sitting with my vapie stuff but I never use them anymore. and on a completely unrelated topic Marcus said my baby is coming home Yay I think we should have a dancing banana to celebrate

The price on those Vapor Kings atties are about $4.60ea if you buy them in bulk (10) I use the standard resistance (2.2) on my VV Bogger and VVMonkey Boxx @4.5 and love them.If your a fan of 306's,even cheaper.
