It did look like the best .... I asked on the ECC site if they will have a block of rooms again, like Vegas.

Well, yesterday I installed a baby gate on my front door, lol. It's actually a nice, metal one that doesn't look too bad. I'm tired of Sophie shooting out the door and going after delivery people. She's just after them fussing over her, but they don't know that. Plus, I can now do things like going out the front door with much less drama. It was my sister's idea; she has the same in her office, since she keeps her boxers with her and Dixie in particular wants to play with her clients.
I also saved a beer can and I'm filling it up with 50 pennies and setting it by the front door. I don't mind Sophie barking when someone comes to the door, but she needs to stop when I answer it. I saw a dog trainer on Animal Planet use this by giving it a firm shake and correcting the dog. Apparently, the noise breaks her attention. I hope it works, lol.

Yeah. I tried the can of coins with the Dobie. He just looked at me, then kept on doing bad things. A water bottle that squirts works well, but I'm wondering if this led to his strange fear of water?

So, I got bit by a an aphid today. At least I think that's what it was. A little green grasshopper thing. It was sitting on my dress that I had hand washed and put out to dry, so I knocked it off. The next thing you know, it had jumped on my leg and was biting me! Dang thing had some choppers too!
