Well it's the end of my day and I'm getting ready to head home. Short week for me as we head to Watkins Glen, NY to visit older family friends and enjoy the Italian festival in an area know for it's Italian population as well as being wine country. We're staying at our friends motel, the Watkins Glen Motor Inn, overlooking Lake Seneca and I expect to eat my way through our 4 day stay. I am really hoping to be hiking and walking enough to make the calories a moot point.
I too have been thinking of the Delightful Miss "D" since we're going right past her home city. I can only hope all is well for her.
So happy to see Coralie's post and am sending healing vibes to both her and Ralf.

Today I learned why parents hate back-to-school shopping so much. I'm attending a conference in ATL next week, and as part of the conference, we're putting together school supplies packets for underprivileged elementary school students. So I took my list to Office Depot. You'd think that they would have school supplies organized, but no! I actually had to dig through spiral notebooks to find the few wide rule books mixed amongst the college rule books. I managed to find packs of pencils and erasers, but no to 24-count crayons. Safety scissors were basically hidden in the back and I never did manage to find glue sticks. I finally said to hell with it and checked out with what I had. I understand the theory that by making us search all over the store would increase sales as we come across things we hadn't considered, but they forget that it backfires as well.

Good morning! Happy birthday Pietro! Matt left yesterday, and Beata's settling in to her new job this week. I am slowly readjusting to drinking coffee at this time of day, and enjoying a break from the heat makes torch time very appealing today! I'll post some previews of some new designs Matt and I created together while he was here!

Thank you! The picture doesn't do this one justice... the colors refract light in such a way that this piece really take on a day glow effect! I am considering making a matching clean tank to go with this one.
hey bert, i live right down the street. bought my first trippy tip in feb, and have loved it! the clear tanks with matching tip is a great idea, and definitely on my wishlist.
