Morning all. Hope y'all had a great weekend!
Well, I"m getting ready to make that long-... drive to ATL tomorrow. I'm looking forward to visiting with my sister; the drive not so much, lol. I don't know if I mentioned it but she finally found a house for her practice. It's a lovely old house built in the 30's by one of the first female architects in GA. It needs a whole lot of work though. which is why she managed to get it and 9 acres of land for $80,000. Right now her and my b-in-law are peeling up old linoleum in the kitchen and hallway. Better them than me, lol. I'm sure she's going to put me to work when I get there. That's okay; hopefully I can get her to teach me how to re-glaze windows, their next big project.
Can't wait to see the new tips. I'm of two minds re the v2's: I agree with Nick in that most of my breaks are around the base, and I've tried my v2 tip on most of my tanks. I love them on my KFL and Russian and don't mind them on most of my carto tanks except for my clean tank; it just looks weird.

Good morning! I apologize that it's been kind of quiet on my end lately...there are some really great things in the works right now! If you check out our facebook page you can see some new TrippyTips that are headed to Texas and will be spread around the state by Create-a-Cig. They ordered a total of 1000 TrippyTips so you are bound to find something that you love in the mix! I will be uploading the photos to Google today so keep an eye on the gallery over at TrippyTips.com if facebook is not your thing.

Matt and Dave are both home safely, and have left me a lot of art glass to use in collaborative works! I will be meeting up with Freddy, Gigi, and Jacs on Thursday to spread the glassy goodness around. It will be interesting to see what each artist does with Matt and Dave's creations!

Finally,
We have decided to do a numbered limited edition signature series by the different artists. The base will contain a serial number, and an engraved signature of the artist that created the TrippyTip! I am very excited to be able to share the signature works of each artist, and the aim is to let you all get to know the artists better through the expressions that they share! I would love to hear what you all think of this!

Wow! You've outdone yourself Bert! So, do the metal tips fit in any 510 atty? It looks the there are different colored metals?

These should fit any 510! I heat treat some of them to turn them different colors :) The beta v2's had some issues with fitting in tighter 510 connections, but that has all been worked out with the new ones.

Most will have the metal base from this point forward, but I promise to have some throwbacks to the all glass v1.0 from time to time as well!

Im gonna hold you to that promise because personally I think the old style were/are the best and I'm still waiting for some obsidian old school goodness! :p
Good night Tripsters
