Hello Trippyville, I hope everyone is doing well. Sitting here in front of a roaring fire. Moms on my left Mrs brew is on my right and Greystoke is leaning up against me. Was a good Christmas but the rest has been even better. I hope you all are well and also enjoying some well deserved downtime. Now a few days to recover before our annual New Year's Eve gala. Thankfully I'll have three days after that to fully recover. Brew

Morning all. As you might guess from my previous post, I'm so glad to be home. I was hoping to come back to some warm weather, only to have a cold front moving in today. No problem: I'm making a pot of chili today and I got the stuff for New Years day. For those of y'all not blessed to be Southern, you eat black-eyed peas and greens on New Years day: the peas for luck and the greens for money. In GA we do collard or turnip greens, down here in LA they apparently use cabbage for the same purpose. My collards are awesome. If you want to know how to make them, PM me. :D

BTW, I tried out the Lemo. I had to use the build that came in it, which sucks. I'll give you a better idea of it once I get a new build in it. That said, no leaking and it holds a boatload of juice. I can't wait to get my Plasma tank in so I can say the same for my KFL.

Morning all. Hope y'all are having a great week!
I finally had a chance to put my own build in the Lemo. Wow! Night and day. Builds like a Kayfun; hits like a Kayfun, with easier AFC ( I can adjust it with a fingernail) and easier filling (it comes with a plug that you can use in place of a screw). It holds 5ml of juice! I find that the adjustable 510 connection tends to sneak inward when you take it on and off a device, it is humongous and I agree with many others that the AFC is a bit loose, but overall it does everything I'm looking forward to with the Plasma tank. :thumb:

Hi all. Hope y'all are recovered from New Years! :D

I have a battery question: I'm in need of some new 18650s and I keep seeing batteries with amp measures: efest 20 amp, etc. I typically use AW IMRs on all of my mods, including my DNA 30 DS and my box mods (which go to 50 amps apparently). So what does the amp ratings mean? Does it mean it's only safe to use up to 20 amps, or that it should be used on devices of at least 20 amps?

Amp rating is how much current can safely flow from a battery. There are two different measurements, continuously and burst. The first is how much current can flow always on without over stressing the batt. The other is for a short burst, how long, I'm not sure. The other problem, I believe, is different batt manufacturers use one or the other rating.
