Interesting, they're making 30 watt batteries now? That's crazy. I've missed so much!! Lol

Not batteries. Regulated mods capable of 30w output. Actually the newest Evolv DNA is 40 watts.

Then there is the SX chip which can do 150.

And Vicious Ant Variant can do 250w.

Your mod was a DNA 12. A lot has changed.

LOL. Welcome to 2015, Amber! The Istick30 is like the love-child of an Ego and a cigarette lighter. It's a regulated device with an internal battery that you charge with a usb charger and it's the size of a cigarette lighter. The Cloupor mini is slightly larger, also a 30 watt regulated device. The difference is that it takes a 18650 battery. You can still charge it with a mini-usb cable, just like the istick. I got my Istick at myvaporstore.com. I got my Cloupor mini off of Ebay.

Horseman9 hooked up a cloupor mini for Beata and she hasn't set it down since! The minute she got the thing my 18650 collection was cut in half LOL! If you're going to get one just be sure to research it since some people have reported problems with them overheating and melting down. The test involves dry burning your coil for 15 seconds and checking if the unit reports 'Too Hot' to see if you have one of the defective units.

If you grab an iStick might as well do the 50w for $10 more. Not just for the added power but for the extra battery capacity. You'd go from 2200mah on the 30w to 4400mah on the 50w :)

I have been trying the Subtank Mini and so far its a great "on-the-move" atty, very low maintenance, and it comes with a rebuildable head if you want to wrap yourself. I believe they also make a sub-ohm head for the Atlantis now as well so if you don't want to switch up atties that may be a good alternative

Bert, thanks for the heads-up about the Cloupor. Mine seems to be fine; in fact my istick seems to heat up wnen using my Atlantis much worse than my Cloupor. Speaking of my Atlantis, I broke down and ordered a Kanger sub-tank mini today for Mardi Gras. I like having a re-buildable head for it, and the reviews are great.
Cyclin, I agree about the Istick: if it had been released when I bought the 30, I'd probably have gone with it instead. That said, with my 2 Darkstars (one 30 and one 40, if it ever comes in), along with the Cloupor, Istick and my Dragon tin I'm good to go as far as devices go for now.

I'm using 24 already, I know a lot of suppliers don't do anything higher than that. Is probably need a 36 but I'm not sure who carries it? Maybe a new atty would help. Sounds like everyone really loves the kayfun?

?? Ok, so why not just buy some Nic and add a few drops to your vape?

^^ I agree with that. And if you use high content like 100mg you will be adding so little it really shouldn't affect the flavor. To make 30ml of 24mg into 36mg you add 5.625ml of 100mg

In the above example flavor strength would be reduced by about 1/6th, not accounting for high VG muting

Hi all. Joyous Ash Wednesday.
Well it's been a good day and a bad day so far. It's been good as I just received my first box of juices from a site called Zamplebox. For $24.99 a month, they send you a package of 6 random juices. You can select flavor profiles to narrow your choices, or do as I did and select "surprise me". Their suppliers include a few names I already knew, like The Standard and BluePrint. So anyway, I received 6 15ml bottles today. They include a tobacco, a watermelon, a raspberry and cream, a PB&J and a butter cookie and a leechee. I'll let you know if any are outstanding.
The bad thing is that my microwave finally died. I"ve had it for years though so I can't be too sad, I guess. I'm trying to decide if I can hold off a couple of days and order one from Amazon, or if I need to get one ASAP.
Hope y'all having a great day! Don't forget to get ashed! :D

LOL. MG was a bit quiet. I went out for a bit with some friends to nearby parades, but it was too damn cold to stay long. I got a couple of go-cups and some beads and called it a day (you know you're a native if your first sippy cup was a go cup and your first words were "throw me summin mista").
I decided to get a new microwave off of Amazon. It's a 1.6 cu ft with a 15" turntable, so I can nuke bacon w/o having to chop it as I did with my old one. It'll be here on Friday (gotta love Prime).
BTW, I'm really enjoying a couple of my new juices already. They're both by Mad Mike; one's a tobacco w/caramel and cocoa, and one's a strawberry-watermelon w/menthol. I haven't tried the rest yet so I'll keep you posted.

How do you cook your bacon in the microwave? I usually just do the oven at 400, foil lined cookie sheet to make clean up easy, and put them on the ottom rack for 12-15 (depending on thickness)

But I'm always down to learn faster bacon ways haha. Gotsa have my bacon fast lol

I do MW bacon every day.

A paper plate lined with 2 paper towels then 6 to 8 strips of bacon and one paper towel on top. Then place on carousel with one paper towel under plate to catch any latent drippings. Nuke on high between 30 to 40 seconds per slice depending on the thickness of the bacon and power of the oven. Use the lower time first and check for desired doneness. Add small increments of time if desired to achieve the crispness you want.

You can also purchase special MW pans for it but I've always done it like this.

I do about the same as Sedge, except I use a 8x8 glass baking dish, hence the reason I have to cut strips in half to get them to fit. How do you get 6-8 strips of bacon to fit on a paper plate?
I also scramble eggs in the MW: beat them, add a bit of milk and put them in a bowl and nuke them for 30 seconds, take them out stir and repeat at 20 second interval until they're close, then switch to 10 seconds until they're just about done. Scrambled eggs in under 2 minutes.
On the vape front, I tried out the rest of the juices and 1 of the 3 is great right out of the bottle: It's called Scarlet by The Collection. I never even knew what lychee tasted like and I like it. Sanctuary by Adam Bomb is advertised as "coffee and caramel". I get the caramel but not the coffee; it's good but I'm hoping the coffee will show up with a bit of steeping. Busted Limo by Transit Vape definitely needs more steeping; it's listed as a PB&J but it's quite harsh and I'm not really tasting anything but alcohol; hence the need for steeping. I have to admit I'm impressed with Zamplebox: 6 juices and not a horrible one out of the bunch.

Howdy Trippy Peeps!
I hope everyone is well and enjoying their evening. Mrs. Brew just got back from flying to Dallas with Mother Brew to put Mom on a non-stop flight to San Fran for 2 weeks with my sister. Had a night alone with our 4 little ones and as always was reminded just how much Mrs. Brew handles for all of us. Glad to have her back home. I'm also digging my latest acquisition after cleaning out all the machine oil and that is my EHPro Kayfun 4 clone. $40 out the door to see if spending for a real v4.0 was worth it. Man is this nice and especially nice with my unique inside-out, brain twist acquired oh so long ago on one of Bert's custom runs.

As for the Kayfun v4.0, love the juice flow control, love the lack of slee stak whistle and love the lack of leakage! I thought about the plasma tanks long and hard but my Trippys wouldn't get the use they deserve and the real Kayfun Lite just didn't have the same pull as this newer version. Here's a nice pic of my new night-time rig. Wharf's DarkStar is taking the spot of my failed REO Grand VV after the VV chip failed. I still have my REO unicorn, GITD REO VV (Thanks to Blue Swatch), but My DarkStars are handling morning coffee vape and late night. REOs are still the out and about all-day vape. Here's that gorgeous Trippy combination. Brew

Woohoo! My Kanger sub-tank mini came in today. Would it be sacrilege to say that I might like it better than my KFL? I've got the 1.2 ohm head in it and the same juice I've got in my KFL. The major difference is the airflow: I've got the Kanger wide open and it rocks! Even with my KFL fully open, it's like sucking on a straw in comparison.

Not sacrilege just truth lol. If you haven't yet, try wrapping the the RTA head the Mini comes with. It is insanely easy to do. Though I don't normally recommend his vids try watching Rip Trippers review of the Mini, he wraps his the same way I do mine at .5-.6. So easy it should be a crime lol.

And if you are really looking to save a little money, you can also rebuild the OCC heads it ships with, just check youtube. A little more time consuming than the RTA head but you can redo a bunch of them just to have ready-to-go on hand

I just got in my Kayfun 4 but I haven't tried it yet. I still like the Subtanks more than the KFL tho.
