Freddy and I are riding the food high too! We are finding all sorts of great eats in the DFW area. Tonight we dined on some of the finest sushi either of us have ever had.

Before that we treated ourselves to some excellent TeX Mex and BBQ!

 I am so happy to see that everyone is settling in to our new home here in TrippyTips nation, and feeling blessed that you all are a part of my life!

I got the pleasure of meeting more than a few TrippyTips collectors this weekend including Mr. JDub (Josh) and I attest he is a really awesome guy! I also met Mike's son who was really cool and promised to deliver a couple hugs to Oklahoma for me. Thanks to everyone who made it to Blast, and for those that didn't please rest assured that Freddy and I will be making it to more events in the future. Hopefully we can bring the torches as well, since that was a ton of fun sharing our talents in a live setting.

mike as in me? i will skin derek if he went and didnt take me. that may explain why i couldnt get ahold of him yesterday!

Hi Trippies! Long time no see! Its been a busy couple of months for me, I started my new job as a tattooers apprentice a couple of weeks ago. Its been hard work, but fruitful. Im learning a lot and I'm excited about my future there. My sponsor and his family are all awesome, and we have great mutual respect for each others work. Its going to be something great, I can feel it. My last day at my crappy day job will be tomorrow (I've been doing both- 77 hours a week= no fun). I tried to give them a long notice, but some words were said by the higher ups to me that can't be taken back. So as soon as my employees are trained on my work (which I think they are now) I will take my boxes to my car and say goodbye to the corporate world forever. Too many sharks in those waters. It means the next few months will financially be tough, as Im unpaid until I become fully licensed, but since I won't be spending all of my off time working on tattooing anymore, I should be able to get back to the shop! Oh how I have missed my beautimus torch... Hopefully this means Ill get to say hi to you folks a little more often too! :)

I really enjoyed hanging out with Bert and Freddy! I checked out some killer Trippys they had for sale, saw the worlds biggest Trippy Tip, watched as they refurbished some TTs that didn't make it to sale, Bert showed me how they make the donuts, saw several of Freddys marbles which I must say are even more impressive in person(a couple of them were baseball size!), got an autographed copy of "Glass Line" magazine that contains an article written by Freddy about his marbles and mentions Trippy Tips with some nice pics, Saw a centerpiece type trippy that Jackie made(no photos on this thread...yet), got a complementary tailpipe style Trippy, and met the rest of the Colorado peeps. The best part was everyone was super nice and treated me like family.

The Blast was crowded so I didn't really see much of it but there were rooms with so much vapor in the air you could hardly see to the other side lol.

Hi all. Hope your week's off to a great start.
Good to hear the Bash was successful. I'll definitely plan on being there next year.
Just heard from Tara. First, apparently the purchase of the house with the pink kitchen is off. Looking in the crawl-space showed a sinkhole under the house! Whoa!
Better news. A client told her there's actually a vape shop in Griffin, our home town. Woohoo! I'll definitely check it out next time I'm home.
They really are popping up everywhere.

Morning Tripsters! Sounds like blast was a lot of fun. Sorry I missed it. But Jdub I know how you feel. Felt the same at vapefest. But on that note I think Bert should do a trippy bash in his home town! :p lol
